General shots
Know you guys like pic's so these are general shots. IF the machine shop is finished with the adapter we should get the engine, tranny, and tcase mounted this week to test fit the body.
..the steering components are coming out of a Mits D500 truck but they are not here yet. They are much more robust than the stock LC.
My partner, Michael was into racing 40's and has a lot of experience with where the weak points are on the LC, there is a birf mod done here that I have no experience with but the jest of it is you machine down the birf and enclose it with a steel ring. I will be interested to see how that's accomplished as I have no clue.
With the 15bf we are afraid that when wheeling the strain will be too much on the stock steering components (bend/break) .
We will be using 70 series springs, ordered but not here, eventually...we have just about decided NOT to go SOA because we are going to have to cut the oil pan anyway. I would like to keep it as low as possible as it will be a daily driver and I don't feel like climbing up in the truck everyday.
.we will re-arch the 70 springs to get a little more lift. The 70 springs are brand new out of Japan so should last a while.
