Installed 70 series disc on axle..good so far but will have to run spacers I think.
As you can see by the pictures the engine compartment is fairly crowded, as the trucks a 24 volt, we had to move the battery's to the rear. A time consuming deal but not that hard, I didn't get a picture with the lid down but in the end it will be a fairly neat deal and not that obvious. As you can see, still room for San Mig's![]()
I have heard that the reason the rotary pumps have a return to the tank, is to circulate the fuel to keep themselves cool. Having a tee may circulate hot fuel and wear out the fuel pump part of the injection pump quickly. I may be wrong but check it out.
Rosco??? Tom??? chime in please.
T.... in the midst of it all we had a new baby, William Felix, ......
Just one more picture of the side view, give you an idea of how it sits....and the reason its taking so long..![]()
Yes. I think a rotary pump always needs to return fuel right back to the tank too.
Congrats Lee. That's a really beautiful photo of William Felix with his mum too!
New Zealand used to have a very laid-back lifestyle too. But we've moved a long way towards losing this valuable asset. (Just an observation based on my 60 years since being born here.)
