Really nice thread, I've enjoyed reading it tonight. Did the PO swap out the bib for an older one? (I saw early on in the thread it had the oval bezel) Nice seat covers, were they ordered from a supplier or recovered locally by a shop?

Yes an early bib & bezel was the work of PO. I swapped that out.

Catching up on old sub'd threads, just saw this. The missing clip holds the 'FRESH' cable. There's one in every ~74-newer heater box, shouldn't be a problem to get one from a junk box somewhere.

hecrod - I am ashamed to report no change in the title work or the completion of the project. I have a bad habit of not delegating projects out and trying to do everything myself.

Your post got me to thinking and am going to try and find Someone to take in vehicle and finish so I can enjoy next year.

Damn, man! I have the same problem with delegation... "Nobody else will do it like I want it, so I try to do it all myself. I fortunately have the luxury of lots of free time. Wish I could transfer some of that to you. Regardless of which way it goes, please keep us posted to the very end.

Updates. I can't seem to get the front clip to align with the tub. 1/4" here, 1/2" there.

One frustration after another. I recently took some parts including Windshield Frame to painter to proceed with registration.

This is a step because Sheriff needs to inspect all Out-of-State transfers to verify VIN numbers on firewall, door sill and WS frame. I can't title until Sheriff signs off on VIN tags.

Getting it titled is a huge step in process. Sure wish the PPPO would have just stepped up and done what any Cruiser Brother would do for another!...

I thought I'd try one more time to the mud member whose name still appears on title.

1) would you be willing to request a Duplicate Title from the state of Missouri and sign over to me? I will be more than happy to pay all fees.

2) would you be willing to sign a Limited POA giving me permission to get Duplicate Title myself?
