I'll dig through my parts and see how many I have today. I also see you asked on how to clean your harness. I used simple green and a soft scrub brush and tooth brush. I used mineral spirit on the more soiled areas. No get that rig finished, I think I'm going to beat you to completion

Ha, thanks. I worked on organizing my mess today. I think I'm good on # of beauty rings.

They are a little tarnished so I tried to buff them out. My in-dash ash tray is also pretty rusty. Thinking I will blast with glass beads then paint Eastwood's Detail Gray, as I don't know where to get it chrome plated and not sure it's worth the extra effort.

Another weird thing is my truck came with a glove box with flat pull labeled "pocket." I've seen other 81' with keyed round knob on glove box. Mine is a January 1981 so maybe flat glovebox was carried forward.

I CAN SEE THE LIGHT AND SHOOTING FOR SPRING COMPLETION!

I got the same number so I think you're good. Your 81 should have the round button on the glove box door from what I seen.

I like not having the gear shift pattern on my shifter. I consider it my passive safety device. I try to park nose in so if anyone tried to steal it they'll have to figure out where reverse is

Should I make a replacement gasket for carb insulator or just run it?

When I rebuilt my carb, I didn't have any gaskets for the carb insulator, but my carb kit came with two. I put them on, but I don't think they're critical.
