looking great

Looking great! I have been going through the same thing for several years now. Bought what turned out to be a rust bucket but only had 38,000 miles. Since then I have found a good solid full tub ($500) and a solid frame ($200) I plan to get started on it this Spring, can't wait!
As far as the title, if the vehicle is over 25 years in many states you do not need the title to register it. Check with your DMV to make sure. I am guessing you would still need it inspected and a bill of sale but not a title. I checked on that in Texas for another vehicle and that is what I was told.

Good luck
Rusty

Is that the 6h9? I'm going to PPG and spraying my truck in about 3-4 weeks with it. Got any more pics. Love it and build looks to be going well.

Yep, this is the now infamous 6H9 (PPG 45894) Grayish Olive.

It seems to change colors a lot and had me scared when we sprayed the bedliner. But Im settled on it now...Im going for it.

Nice build up so far and like the wheel / tire combo. When I was doing my restomod, I was set with either 6H9 or Rustic Green, I ended up w/ the Rustic Green which I am happy with but still like the 6H9. Take lots of pics during the build and post them up.

Infamous becuase each person with the same code keeps ending up with something different? I've read the thread on how some look brown and that there are suppossedly a light and dark mixture. It also seems to change a lot depnding on the light and the texture.

In the end...looks good to me.

Phillip...come on over! Bring your tools if you do ;)

Inside of tub is being lined this week and not at my house. So not much to see.

Hopefully have tub on frame by Thanksgiving.

Bedliner looks good, how come you didn't line the rear fenders? Did you end up mixing another batch to get the right color? Planning on going with the SEM on my new tub ... any tips on having it mixed?

Tucker

I thought the wheel wells would look better smooth.

Don't know why but the color looks MUCH better this time. Maybe it wasn't mixed properly last time. I am very pleased with the SEM Bedliner as it is kind of rubbery and spongy feeling compared to el cheapo Hurculiner that will cut your feet on it barefooted.

Just follow the directions no secret tips.
