I was two seconds from hopping on that rusty cruiser. Where are you located? I'm pretty sure I saw that rig on my local craigslist. Great job on the woody by the way in just spent 2 hours reading the whole build thread

Thank you! i try to captivate my readers with stupidity so they cant look away lol. Or i just love making the same mistakes 4 or 5 times :o

Im in atlanta, norcross is like 20 minutes away so i figured id go take a peek. once i saw the wagon gear products i knew there was probably many more goodies hiding underneath all the rust.

RustWood!!! Those axles would be purrrrty in Woody
Awesome score! I think once you dive in and find out what's really goin on with Rusty that'll point you in a build direction. Sweet

yeah Ive made a plan to hopefully accomplish by the end of the day. I want to take off the Hella headlights, strip the roof basket to bare metal, and remove the rear axle so its ready to be cleaned and rebuilt if necessary. I also want to take a look inside the rear diff, its hopefully nothing but there were some slight banging noises coming from it and i want to make sure all well with the gears.

I should really log on more - HOLY s*** you got another one!?!? Congrats! I want to come see it in person!

Yeah thanks. give me a call or text sometime next week and well go check it out. Bring lots of $$$, im sure you'll see something that you want :p

Just found your build. Very clean rig (the Woodie) and Rusty is very cool too! Watching now. :D

So I'll have some wheeling pics of woody and some of the truggies I've been having a ride in. Will post tomorrow or Monday
