You'd best stay in Florida, you wont survive here long :flipoff2:
...Actually, bring back some fireworks from one of the countless parking lot stands down there. i couldnt smuggle any of the good ones.

SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!!!!
I cant decide whether i like the ARB where it is (middle height) or the lowest setting... ill probably fool around with it some more in the next few days when i repaint my grill.

I think it looks fine where it is, but lowering it a little may center the headlights better :meh:

yeah that was my thought. i had it up on the highest just see that and it looked... wrong. so i put it on the middle and just said whatever its fine. but i do want the cights centered, even if lowers my approach angle by .001"...

Pffff. Approach angle? Approach angle doesn't matter when you're airborne :flipoff2: (although that might not be quite as easy with the weight of the bumper on there)

Put it on the lowest setting :)

I need to wire my lights still. I wonder if our blinker wires are the same color.

Do yours stay on and then blink when the switch is engaged? I want my ARB lights to do that. But 60 blinkers are only on when blinking :hhmm:

Nick told me that the ground is usually white striped and the positive/blinker is the other one.

I have them wired so that they are off unless they are doing their blinkering duty. Im not really sure how to wire them as running lights as well as blinkers (disco mod i think thats called), chances are its pretty easy and im just clueless...

The only negatives ive seen for using the markers as running lights is that they get really hot and begin to melt the orange lens, but that could be rectified with the installation of LEDs instead of the stock ARB bulb. I usually always drive with the headlights on so i dont really mind usuing them solely as blinkers.
Good luck with your lights

And i will repaint the grill tomorrow and move the bumper down to the lowest setting and rejoice.

You could get a normally closed relay, one for each side, and use the blinker wire as the "signal wire" so when it "blinks" it is actually turning off" opens" the circuit.

And the "power" wire could be fead from the running light circuit.

I didn't think about the heat! I will just wire them as blinkers. Maybe add some additional DRLs to the bumper. Just cause I can :hillbilly:

Thanks for the thoughts gentlemen

Yeah I was thinking about cutting the bumper and fitting the 100 series fog light/blinker insert into each side, but those parts are relatively expensive and it's pretty much only a cosmetic thing.

What about a set of 2x2 pods with a amber color. You could maybe wire in a resistor to make them dimmer, or a switch on the dash, to go from dim to bright for use on the trail.

That sounds like the way to do it!

Ill probably just do a bar til i get a rack sometime in the future. then ill slap some pods up on the rear to flash douchebags in BMWs... Ankur :D

Hey look I'm posting on mud!!! I had to see more pics of the bumper. I thought I would look to big, but man it is probably the beat bumper on a 62 I've ever seen. Just needs a winch. Also the beautiful trail was trail 4.

Thanks bud. Since i took the pics yesterday, i resprayed the grill and lowered the bumper about .5" so now the headlights are more centered and it looks......

post pictures!

Ok so heres the bumper on its highest setting...

Middle setting..

Lowest (best) setting...

Bumper looks naked, anybody got a winch they want to recycle into my bullba??? or ill stick a license plate in there or something.

I like it high up, I would disconnect the OEM blinkers and plastidip that whole area. The ARB blocks the OEM stuff anyways. I've got something to fill in the emptiness

Is it just me or is your bumper bigger than older models? Maybe it's just the camera angle?
