Looking good!

How long to get them installed?

Not too long. Start to to finish, took me 4 hrs. But that's only because I ate dinner and pwned some n00bs on the old xbox in between sliders.
So probably an 1.5 hours.

I had planned on painting my 60 a dark green but I'm really digging the gray. Any idea what the color code is?

!

He's got some mad skillz or maybe just simply put, a mad man!!

J

Its prolly just my mad skills because, come on guys, is this the face of a mad man?

That be some nice 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser gray... Gray Metallic (153) to be precise. Good luck with your decision!

the phrase "nuttier than a squirrel turd" comes to mind :rolleyes:

KILL IT... KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!

Soooo I forgot to mention i also got the pinion leak taken care of by ACC, i spent like 2hrs researching, writing down step by step instructions for my self and thinking up questions to ask, but then my brother convinced me that i would screw in that big nut too far, crunch the bearing, and destroy my gears...
but I'm glad its done haha.

wiait the 54mm bearing preload nut thing? just get a torque wrench

If you're talking about the 30mm preload driveshaft bearing which resides in the rear diff then yeah. I'm bound to crunch it even with my lovely torque wrench haha. Shop prices, high as they may be, are cheaper than needing to buy new thirds haha.

yaaaay pictures. Everyone, time to tell me how good they look.

Ay gurrrrrlllll dat s*** be lookin fyyyyyyynnnnnneeeeee!!! Lol black is definitely the accent color for this rig. Also your truck is too clean, it's time we change that ;). But lol we will definitely go easier, I feel like I'm probably killing my transmission the way I wheel .

I would say a Minwax Golden Oak, two coats, sand with #800 grit, two coats Spar Varnish Clear.
Oh, wait...

Nice install Patrick, do you have any pics of the underside/ mounting? U bolts seem like a much easier install as opposed to welding. I just wonder if they will move at all, especially the way you crazy fxxxs wheel... :D
I guess slight movement would be better than breaking a weld... Well considering one of my welds...

Also, your rig looks absolutely perfect with 33's. If you went to 35's you might have to play with your bump stop length to avoid rubbing. It can be done though! Or just get the Shackle reversal...

Danny, I'll post some pics of the mounting bolts when I get home in a couple hours. Im going fishing :D
And I'm gonna head to ACC next week to get the sliders/exhaust welded up because they are pretty much only hand tight, I mean, I'm really strong but it's only probably at around 150lbs hehehe. And that exhaust banging on the slider arm is driving me crazy.

Edit: look at you, editing while I'm responding haha. I NEED 35s!!! Ill probably keep it a secret how I'm gonna accomplish that later :D

Pics for DANNY...
(please pardon muddiness)

Driverside, rearmost arms...
You can see the hole in the bracket needed to allow the unbolt to pass through.

Driverside front arm...
barely enough room to fit even an end wrench.

Passenger side, front arm...
Notice the spacers used to allow the unbolt to fit right up next to the frame. Wasn't hard to take off the 12 old bolts, but refitting the new ones and spacers in really tight spaces was a little annoying.

Now, I'm off to get it washed.

Hell yeah, found the perfect parking spot.
Left a big scar in the pavement with tow hitch... Oops.

Crazy smile :D
