nice, only question is how are you going to mount a skid plate with U-bolts on the frame like that short of cutting into those too. you catch any fish? im trying to go out sometime next week and do a cast and blast on some ducks and steelhead

Im glad you brought that to my attention...
Umm, I think the front arm is far enough towards the front to not really cause a problem. Ill need to check again though. If need be, ill just drill or cut the holes for the unbolts.

And we caught like 3 MASSIVE rainbows in the "Hooch", like 8-10 inches lol... Aidan, my brother, did accidentally hook a goose though. That was pretty damm funny. Only caught on a feather though, so the hook came off on its own. I wouldn't have wanted to get up close to that pissed off goose!!

just checking on that because i know you wanted one. btw i painted the underside of the plate bright green :D

you keep them tasty guys? and for the goose, the key is to not stick your hand by there head, they bite. after that grab it by the neck hear the base of the head and then windmill him and snap like a whip to break the neck. do that once or twice and you will be good haha. just make sure he aint twitching. then remove hook throw goose in boat and continue :hillbilly:

-finished the knuckles today right in time for the rain and ill have more mud pics on my thread tomorrow

Good, I need my muddin pics fix lol... since I'm never getting dirt on the cruiser again.

And no we didn't keep the little fishes, its pretty much common practice NOT to eat anything that comes out of the Chattahoochee haha. And it would probably be a little more taboo to see a fly fisherman wading waste deep in the freezing river fishing for geese and flinging them around by the neck :lol::lol:
But now ill know for next time, incase one of those Canadian fxxxers wants to brawl.

It's the way the mud fxxxs with everything. Killed my alternator, contributed to blowing up my distributor, etc. and yes, cleaning is the pits.

Let me know next time you go fishin' I want in. Sliders look good. I don't know about welding the sliders. I have the same ones and they're plenty sturdy. I avoid perforating the frame as much as possible to avoid corrosion issues down the line.

Haha sure thing, we usually go fishing like 3 or 4 times a week when it gets warmer outside. Maybe we should go wheeling before i go to acc, and see if they shift at all ??? Maybe we can plan a little day trip to somewhere really cool and extremely close this coming weekend? I'll ping you the details.

^^^What Kyle said. Wish I could go fly fishing again right now! I spent my whole week's vacation this summer wheelin' around the Gold Lake area, and didn't get much of any fishing in.

do you bolt through the frame or just weld frame to sliders?

Neither of those options appeal to me. Lol
My sister lives in Colorado and her boyfriend wants me and my brother to come ice fishing with him... Fxxx that. I'll go skiing and what not, but that's cuz there are pretty girls at the lodge to play with... There are no pretty girls out on frozen lakes.
Checkmate!
