At the end of the day, its still just a bolt though.... or maybe a bracket...Great, now I'm dreading that bak bolt even more..... me vs. the bolt.

Just make sure that when you reassemble everything that you put a shorter bolt back in so that it will be super easy to remove it later down the road if you ever need to get to something below or behind the pump.
Think of it this way,.. at least you bought a new pump right off the bat instead of attempting multiple rebuilds yourself, then sending it to a shop for multiple rebuilds of both the pump and gearbox, (leaving a shop full of Toyota 4x4 mechanics scratching their heads trying to figure out whats going on), only to eventually break down and pony up for a new pump that solved all the problems. My steering issues took an entire summer to figure out haha. I'm glad its all working now....
