I've always liked going to the wrecking yard. Even if it's just to see what's been laying around.

Well I heard back from John at Slocruiser.com, he's hoping he'll get some more rear door fixed window seals in by the end of the month but doesn't seem like he's holding his breath due the current state of things in regards to shipping/receiving goods.
If anyone is in the market for some he'd be a great one to buy them from. I've purchased several parts from him and the quality and customer service has always been spot on.
That said, I did end up purchasing two pairs from Steele Rubber and will be piecing them together when they arrive.

Well, I decided to return my seals from Steele Rubber and spend the extra cash for the correct fitting seals from Slocruiser. Nothing wrong with piecing together the seals from Steele Rubber it's just that I got a lot going on with this project at the moment and figured I'd rather just put the proper seals in.Received my rear door fixed window seals today. Picking up some 3M adhesive tomorrow.
A little bit of work, sure. But delivery was fast and I saved myself $150 by going this route.

Thanks RUSH!Nice job! Those look great![]()
Thanks! Yeah, I plan to beef up the rear bumper as well, when time permits. Those front bumper ends will be ROCK solid unlike the front and rear ends from the factory!! Awesome!
Yeah, same here. I'm not sure what to do about it yet. My reflector on the passenger side had been held in by a screw through the chrome ring. Something the previous owner had done. Kinda janky. And The driver side refector had only two of the three retaining clips for the chrome ring. It seemed to be holding on pretty good dispite missing one of the clips. On your rear reflector, were you not able to undo the bolts from inside the rear quarter panel? On my ‘69 that was the case so I removed just the outer piece. Now I am concerned after a test fit that they will most likely shake off on the trail.

I'm considering cutting the reflector plates off or drilling out where I think the threads are to be and replacing them with some fancy reflectors from Slocruiser. But I'm not sure just yet.
