These trucks are so utilitarian, I have even found that the Padron thousand series Maduro cigars stows perfect away in the tread blocks of the Pig's General Grabber X3's!😁

Starting to work on the doors today now that the tailgate has been mostly completed. I plan to start with the rear passenger door first because it seems to be the one that rattles the most! I have all the rubber. all except for the fixed window seal but mine really aren't that bad so I may just end up reusing the originals after re-conditioning them.
The trickiest part so far was getting the glass removed but eventually got it!

Amazing work. Keep the pics coming!

Do you have new seals for those fixed rear door windows?
Thanks! No, I don't yet. I may end up reusing my original seals. Mine aren't in too bad of shape. I do know of one vendor who carries them but are currently out of stock. I guess if they were to become available by the time I go to reassemble I might just buy them new.... Pretty damn expensive though.

When John at SloCruisers was out of stock on the fixed window seals, my second option was to order from steelerubber part number 70-4317-55. They are $106 for a pair, but they are smaller and so would need to be pieced together after ordering two pair. So just about the time I was going to pull the trigger John got some of his back in stock so for the $53 extra I just went with the John’s. Of course my originals came out in multiple very brittle pieces so I had no choice but to replace them. In the end I will have 100% new rubber and molding in my 1969 except for the front triangle window vents. Those I am trying to reuse as they are in fair shape. Thinking of using wintergreen oil or soaking in a plastic bag of VLR for a few weeks to try to soften.

My original plan was to purchase from Slocruiser but they are currently out of stock. I've been looking all over, including Steele Rubber and was considering doing the same thing by piecing together a set of 70-4370-55. By doing that Id be saving $150 with the current prices at both vendors.
I think at this point I will reach out to John at Slocruiser and see when he will have more in stock and if the timeframe works maybe I'll go that route. If not I'll probably be pulling the trigger on the material from Steele Rubber very shortly.

Well I heard back from John at Slocruiser.com, he's hoping he'll get some more rear door fixed window seals in by the end of the month but doesn't seem like he's holding his breath due the current state of things in regards to shipping/receiving goods.
If anyone is in the market for some he'd be a great one to buy them from. I've purchased several parts from him and the quality and customer service has always been spot on. 👍
That said, I did end up purchasing two pairs from Steele Rubber and will be piecing them together when they arrive.
