Been a while since I updated anything. Of course I've done some work and used the truck. So here we go.
Go my king pin rebuild kits and locker seals. FAIL. Wrong parts all around. WTH!
So I've improvised with the kingpins by using large washers as shims. Gonna grease the hell out of them and let the washers slowly wear. When they wear enough, I'll just change them.
Here's a pic with all of the wrong kingpin parts (and my broken top kingpin retainer)
Here's a pic of the washers I'm using in the bottom kingpin bushing to pull the portal down with respect to the axle (so the axle is no longer resting on the portal C)

Here's the repair (temporary) for the kingpin retainer.
Not as pretty as it could be, but I'm not too worried about that

And a couple more things while I was putting the axle back together
Moved the bottom pass. shock mount toward the axle a little because the tie-rod nailed it and bent it with a bit of articulation and full right turn
And put some o-rings in to prevent the portal oil from leaking out

Got it all back together and it was leakin' like crazy from the center portion of the axle (through the bolts), so just took em out and sealed them up
Also, wired the steering arm bolts as they have been backing out within a few minutes of driving (which, as you can imagine, causes all kinds of problems).

Your ride is THE badassest, nastiest, filthiest, most radical thing I've ever seen. Bar none. Inclusive all.
Many months ago, when I was planning on rebuilding an FJ40 of my own, I stumbled across some photos of your rig (courtesy of Google). Whilst I didn't eventually go along with the idea of Mog underpinnings, the ride height, the stance, and the overall proportions of your rig certainly served as the inspiration for my own rebuild. Whilst I ended up eventually opting for four doors rather than two, the idea for a truncated, removable pickup tub was certainly inspired by your rig. To see both of these rigs - yours and mine - "running" side by side on the same forum, makes me a very happy camper, indeed.
Respect, man...for the challenge you've undertaken by owning (if not building) this ride. Even more respect...for the challenge you undertake by using it the way it SHOULD be used.

Finally got around to some of the outstanding stuff. Gonna get it saftied for ON ROAD driving this month. Things tackled already
- all the lights (except back-up)
- cleaned up interior electrical
- horn
- rear view mirror
- bad oil leaks...done

What's the safety going to be like in Alberta are the picky. ? Or do they just take a quick look at it ?

For the most part, the inspection should be simple. It depends where you go though.
Other than the frame mods, this truck would pass at most places (with all of the regular gear working, brakes, all lights, e-brake, mirrors, etc)..
I even had my little bj42 pass with holes in the tub and no top! (they made me put the doors on)

Just completed my new e-brake. Transfer case mounted (back of an NP205).
Here's the bracket (1/4" thick plates and 3/16" thick square tube).
Here the bolts of the bearing retainer are removed to bolt the new e-brake mount on. Also you can see the disc mounted to the t-case yoke

The wheelbase is about 114". But if you were asking about track width, it is 66" with those stock unimog rims (center of tire to center of tire)
The measurement from outside to outside of the tires is around 78" with this set of tires. With the LTBs it's around 92" (extra 7" of width per side) due to the wider tires AND a different offset on the wheels
