i dont know about everyone else----but i much prefer the tall skinny mog tires on that rig. Wide stuff looks a little.........how should we say...........hecho en mexico.

20" mog rims are badass looking compared to the little spittoons on there.

Oh, and bought a tow rig and trailer for the cruiser

Bit of work to do on her too, but I'll get to that later

Wowza...that is a cool rig. Keep the pics and build coming. X2 on the Mog rims/tires those are sweet!!!

I like it with both sets of wheels.

Have you consider outboarding the upper shock mounts for more stability?

where did you get the michelins xml's?

from: Army Military Tires ?

I didn't get them from them, but should have. Found some up in Canada and thought I would be better off on the shipping.... and I was. But the service of the seller was Terrible. Turned into an unforgettable fiasco.

There's a guy in North Carolina though that has a good selection of good condition tires. He often lists on Ebay.

Mate -

Awesome truck. Love the way the tray fits back over the rear fabrication to retain the original lines.

Cool to see a unimog as well. A mate up in Queensland collects them. Has about 6 in all and put them to good use recently helping out in the aftermath of the floods.

Not yet. It's seemed to have performed well this way for the PO. I think I'll leave it this way for a while.

I like the BR sig Slowerthanu!!!

Dude, you are the first person since 2002 to get that quote, or at least care enough to mention it.

With BR, Mr. Brett and Greg, you can never run out of quotes.

You ever come to Moab, I'll buy you a beer.

I considered

"Every day I wander in negative disposition as I'm bombarded by superlatives, realizing very well that I am not alone, introverted I look to tomorrow for salvation but I'm thinking altruistically and a wave of overwhelming doubt turns me to stone"

But I felt it was too much.

sweet... you still going to try and get it inspected ... you would have a hard time getting it inspected in B.C.
How is Alberta for Vehicle Inspections??

but damn love the mog axels

oh... just wondering if you checked out the 100 dollar man for tires... decent on prices..

Awesome!!! I need to come by and check that thing out. I promise to bring beer!LOL

PS: didn't you build a shop last year??!! Don't ask me how i know...

I still have a shell of a shop in the back. It will get done this summer, so it's ready for winter. It's pathetic it took this long

The plan is to wheel in the states. I've got the 45 and now, the tow rig. Moab will be spring of 2013. Making it there next spring might be a stretch for me as I've got 3 kids, one of which is only 4 mo old!

Eventually though, I'll see you down there.
