hahaha.... well the stockness will be out the door when I strap that alum tub on there... anyhow this one will not be for sale.... (well everything is for sale) but you know what I mean, not for market rate... what ever that would be..... I guess I dont know what it would be worth since I have not seen anything sell with an alum tub on it..

anyone know???

not sure man...Tru tho I have never seen an orig resto with a alum tub FS. Probably depends on the target market....What kind of suspension are you going with (cant remember)?

Once our rigs are done...(since we both know we arent planning on selling them)! we should make a thread where people put what they think the value of our rigs are... In fact it might be really usefull...Since once its done, for insurance purposes I have to have it apraised... It would be interesting to see what cruiserheads that actually know the cruiser market will value the vehicles vs. the apraiser. What do you think?

got alot done this weekend... Millhouse has a cabin close to my house so he popped over (brought some parts down from Poser) he got to my house about 1:30 and I had to leave at 5:15 so we got a few hours of work in any way.. We started taking apart my front knuckles and installing the new 1983 40 knuckles completly rebuilt the whole knuckles while we are in there... new seals and bearings. we got about 1/2 done on the drivers side before I had to leave...

basicly followed Gupies write up... so I will not explain anything as everything in there is layed out really well... here is the link https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=137225

Thanks again so much Millhouse!!! Stop by again!! just a few pics from Saturday...

pic #1 just things after cleaned up.... no pics before I cleaned it up

today I got a slow start... up too late at my friends house last night... but I did manage to finish the drivers side knuckle and start putting together the stuff again for the rear brakes (bango bolts, put the axles back in, re assemblesed the differential, and put a new seal on the diff. housing) I will finish this up tomorrow. I wanted to see how much of a difference the spacer I got made... it makes a huge difference.

shop has been started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am pumped been working every night after work until dark getting ready to pour a slab.... I have to wait until Tues. because of road Restrictions… Had a friend bring his Bobcat over last weekend and get the area all ready… cut down trees and hauled in fill, it was a huge help to have the Cat there!!! So I have been really busy with that. Also got lots of wood cut for next winter.... :D

No cruiser work done.. I will probably just take a break from that to get this shop finished… I got all winter to work on this again if I need to…..

Pics to come!!!

now a few of the forms before concrete... this actually took us a while... had to make sure it was square and everything was at the correct depth. It was really not much fun and and I am glad it is done... Plus it rained a few days in there so it was solid mud... even though we tried to cover it... notice the footings for the lift!!! :grinpimp:

I have to say it is really really really FxxxING heavy... we had 5 guys and could've used 5 more... dont know how I am going to get this thing stood up and in my building... Currently it is stored in a friends garage until I get walls and a roof....

Pics as always...

Not much happend this weekend... Helped a friend pour footings on his new house he is buiding.... Before 2 weeks ago I have not poured much concret now 2 times in a week... hahaha... I like helping out my firends as I know it will always come back to me...

Did get some stuff ready for more concrete at my place. going to pour the dog kennel and side walk to the house and pad out front of the garage door... probably spend most of the week on getting things lined up and ready... I have to say, I can do most things... just takes me a while to learn as I am going... I want to lay all this stuff out myself and not use my dad.... This is part of the deal... when I am done with this shop... If I had to... I want to be able to build it from ground up... by myself.... without my dad... or anyone......... Just part of the deal I guess.....

Ordering lumber tomorrow and also picking up some landscaping stuff.. Been driving the Tundra every day... Man that thing uses gas.... and it is $3.10 here... It was over $40 to fill the Honda on friday... what a crime!!!

Hope I can show you guys some walls in a week or two..

on another note... went to see a really good friend of mine (Furball, you have heard of me talk about him) race his car on saturday... great time and I think I will be there every saturday I can... Good job little man...

BTW Poser I know this is not Tech stuff.. PM if I can not post this stuff on my build thread..

Awesome build thread

BTW, over here we pay $1.57 per litre which would work out to about $5.96 per gallon :crybaby: hope that makes you feel better :D it cost me $80 to fill the Commodore the other day

Got about half the walls up yesterday... We have been working around the rain here for the last week.. so seems we dont get much time to get anything done.. also rented a saw to cut relief cuts in the concrete on Tue.

My dad did not have to work yesterday so he was able to build most of the walls while I was at work... It was a huge help.. I also wanted to point out that we snapped our lines we were with in 1/8" on square our first try :grinpimp:!!! so needless to say we did not bother moving our lines for 1/16 of and inch.

Ted stopped up yesterday to show me his new Volkswagen Cabriolet.... I know what you are all thinking :princess: and no Ted is not a chick... soooo... Guess that really only leaves one other question... hummm... If I dont ask maybe he will not tell me...

anyway... Here are a few pics... Proabably no more until there is a roof on this thing... going to be working everyday, as long as the rain holds out!
