That's a nice shop. I'm friggin' jealous. Mine is one half of a 2-car garage.

yea... look at my old one... not sure how I am going to get my LC out of it to move it in... think I have to take it apart again.... or make the door bigger.. :D

look what showed up last night.... my aqualu tub!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty pumped... I bought this from Ted at Cruiser Solutions, He is super cool and easy to work with. I went with him actually because he took the time to BS with me for at least 1/2 hour. and really his price is $50 less so it worked out better both ways..

Really wish this garage was done so I could get back to the LC... Getting the Tub makes me want to get going again!!! but what do you do...

Work on the garge since pics are... windows are in... entry door is on... sofits will be done in a few more hours (really just have that back gable to do, could not do that until the lift was up)... going to be working all weekend on getting things ready to put tin on the inside... that has to be done so we can install the big garage door...

Work has been going slow for a few reason... July is my favorite month and I like to spend it in my boat or on anyones boat for that reason... The weather has been almost perfect every day... no kidding... And the Mosquitoes have been so bad here that they about carry you away....

Hey Aaron, I just spent about 40 minutes reading your thread. AND MAN DID I EVER ENJOY IT!!!!
I really like the way your rig is coming along!

I probably should make my own build thread one of these days.....

Anyways, just wanted to say I love it so far!

Hey man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thought you jumped off the face of the earth....

Been doing lots of stuff... nothing too exciting however, hence the no pictures.... the insulation is in on the walls, sofits are done, we are framing around a rafter and having to cut one out and hand frame it back in place (basically making a box for around the lift, this will give us alot more room should I have to take it out or need to work on it ever.

The tin on the ceiling is going up this weekend... of course blowing all the insulation in the attic at that time also... once that is on nothing stopping my from getting those walls done... Think those will go fairly fast with a few guys to help. They delivered the incorrect J channel with my Tin so I have to get the correct stuff tonight along with some more scaffolding at my dads house.

I have to work here at the resort until about 3 or so on Saturday.... and then we are doing the Tin on Sunday... tell Chris I will call him Saturday night.... I want him to look at my lift also... having trouble hooking up the cables or maybe I just dont understand the manual, ( I am just a simple accountant :grinpimp:) ... hoping he may know more than me... (hope is all I got with that kid ) Tell him I know where there are some cold Miller Lites!!! :D

hahahha!!!! :flipoff2: Well I felt like s*** when we started working at 6 yesterday thanks man!!! Think I have seen my dad drunk 4 times in my life and that was one....

I dont gotta worry about picking up Mr. Kramer's tab as he will not venture this far north!!! Think he is scared of the wolves ;) but I will start saving my communion money just in case!

PS my dad was passed out at the bar... on the bar :flipoff2: I blaime MILLHOUSE

well we got the ceiling in this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!! really excited and happy it is done.... got all the insulation blown in also... got a little bit to finish around the lift then it is done... Thanks to Wheeler, Pete, Carder and my Dad.... these guys worked their ass off all day on sunday!!!!

#1 of the celing before anything....

#2 This is the beam I used to put up the lift... I moved it in front of my main door and I am going to hook chains to them and run it through the tin so I can use it to hook things to... (Deer, engines, fat chicks) really anything I want to get out of the truck... it is spanning 5 rafters so it should be pretty strong...

#3 hand framing around the top of the lift.. We really just needed more room to run the lines and everything...

#4 just a few pics with how we started out with the tin... we would put on about 2-3 rows then blow in the insulation up there... made it alot better I only had to crawl up there on the last row... 10" = to R30 on the whole ceiling...

#5 Putting up the last sheet!!! :grinpimp:

#6 done!!!!

#8 The insulation blower in the back of the Tundra.... really dam heavy BTW!

#9 what the chains and hooks look like after the tin is on... really glad we took the extra time to do that...

Aaron...a reccomendation- after driving my cruiser with the alum tub.... if you dont mind making an "aftermarket" weld...Ive noticed that there is a weak point where the tub meets up with the front cowl...I am planning on welding a support beam in the engine bay from the frame to the backside of the cowl so it doesnt bend around. To clarify its not the alum that is bending but the steel cowl. When i go over bumps it seems to have a bit of play. Just thought Id Give you the heads up on a potential problem.

Garage looks sweet.

:popcorn::popcorn::cheers: I'm keeping an eye on this thread cuz its awesome.
