Looking good Aaron....

The folks down here want to know what happened to uncle aaron... ;)

Don't be concerned about making the steering column meet up with the steering gear...you need to get the body on there, along with the top, so that you can set the tub and the cowl so that things line up properly....

Had another bacon/tenderloin dinner tonight...and now Tool is on...

Uncle Aaron is planning on being down there again soon.... I think we need to plan on making tenderloin when I come down there!!!:D

I had to drill holes to get that steering gear to attach to the bracket... am I screwed since I already drilled them...or do I have room to play?

Did I mention I like tenderloin!!!

You Went With Rough Country Shocks. Why Them And Not Others, They Are One Of The Ones I Was Looking At, Because Of Price:) . I Cannot Find Any More Info Other Then Where To Buy Them. I Would Like To Shell Out The Big Bucks On Other Things And Not Shocks.

Think that is the only reason I went with them... they came with the Pinnicle system at JTO.... dont know about them however... if you search not many people had to good of stuff to say about them... I got them before I did much searching... I was not happy with JTO off the bat because of it took them so long to get here and finally when I called they gave me the run around... any how guess I can not tell you any more than that about them.

well I did not get jack done the last two days..... My house plumbing froze up on sunday... It was -34 to -37 degrees F today... depending on which radio station you listen to (not including wind chill).... anyway who ever plumbed my house was a tool... I main water line coming into the house runs along the outside block wall... so needless to say that is what is frozen... It does not look like any thing is broken... so my dad and his buddy came up to help me that stuff... well we worked on this most of the evening... ended up turning the heat way way up and running space heaters in the basement along with fans.. We also took down all the ceiling tiles hoping it would allow the air to get in the walls and thaw the pipes.............

wish me luck!!!

just went to drop off my engine side cover (bought from 89s rule)... it is a late model 2F side cover that has the indent into the side. This will allow me to run a different dist. or at least have more options.

I did get to see the rest of my engine... he has borred it out .0020 and has the new pistions and rings, oil pump and all the other stuff he is doing.. can you tell I dont know $hit about what I am talking about... hahha!!! but it should be ready to roll in a few weeks... I am leaving for Mexico for a week starting next friday so it will be ready when I get back...

Also got a bunch of parts from Cdan today... new brake master, new clutch master, new clutch slave. I will be putting these on tonight... post up pics of some other stuff I have done in the past few days tonight..

I would take the shock boots off. They tend to trap mud and gunk and cause rust...but to each his own. Looks good...you will be needing power steering before long! :)

leaving the boots on... I have everthing for PS but the pump...

ok I also got off my a$$ and unloaded that transfer case that has been in my truck since when I was down to see Poser... I put it in the shop for a few hours to warm up and taped off the alum. stuff and painted the black stuff. I am going to tape off the black stuff tonight or this weekend and paint the alum. stuff also... so here is what it looks like now...

also this weekend I am going to put my new parking brake shoes on that I got from Poser when I was down there... we would have put them on down there but I needed a new cable and you will see it was included with my parts from cdan so I am all set to get that done also...

I also got some of the dash put back on... along with all the brake, clutch and gas petals…. Also put on the parking brake handle…

I have to say I am not happy with how the ash tray, Speedo, and glove box paint came out… (also I scratched the glove box) so I will probably end up redoing these.. not now however…too much other stuff to do… but it will get done.
