Your GX looks MEAN....what tires are you running?

Do you have a build thread, or could you give us a quick run down on your mods?

Wow that is nice. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on one of these, but I also have a Yakima swing out bike carrier that we use with every trip. Any chance you could measure the distance from the edge of the hitch mount to the furthest edge of the spare/Jerry can holder? And any pics with the swing out extended? Trying to figure out if my swing out bike carrier would "clear" the swing out spare tire mount when opening the door. Many thanks!

It's about a foot between the hitch and spare tire depth wise and I've got a 35" spare.

I can snap a few pics for you soon.

@Gx4sevend That looks like a very well-made bumper but wow what a tank! Any concerns about the departure angle? Is it the construction of the GX that limits how low-profile the bumper can be without exposing the frame and lower body corners?

no concerns really. Its much higher than the stock bumper and the hitch is easily removed if you want to do any hardcore wheeling.

It's a build thread I guess you could say. I will find it and post a link to it when I get home.

Just got new wheels so I'm waiting for better weather to clean it all up before I post more pics

Can you flip the hitch mount 180 degrees from what's in the photo so it sits higher, if you are not towing anything, but want to use it for a bike rack mount or just want a bit more clearance from it?

I'm not sure what you guys are trying to traverse but its considerably higher than a stock bumper and has a pretty high departure angle. If you need higher bumper clearance, you definitely wont be going somewhere with a bike hitch

the hitch sits at 22.5" and the lowest part of the bumper sits at 25". That's considerably higher than stock and has a way better departure angle than the stock bumper as well.
