The code will give you 10% right off the bat. This due to the GB starting at 10%. After 20 orders the discount goes to 15%, and if (more like when) we hit 50 orders everyone gets a $100 shipping discount.
When you buy the code is set to 10%. At the end of the sale, (Ends May 15th) we then go back and edit each persons purchase and refund their payment method the difference.
Example:
Raw set of hundo siders $709.95 regular price.
Order: Use code GROUPBUY19 and they are $638.95 + say (this is different per person) $123 for shipping.
Sale ends and we have hit 15% and $100 shipping credits.
This order is adjusted, not just 5% but 15% from the regular price. So $709.95 sliders are now $603.46! The purchase difference is $35.49 + the now $100 shipping credit. So $135.49 is credited back on the person card.
This person ends up with what would normally be an $832.95 purchase, for $626.46 delivered!
We don't do a fully plated version, however, the 100 series sliders have step plates in the two areas you step. They are constantly used as steps as designed and built. If you get them raw and feel you want to add this you can have a local welder easily add fill "mesh" with expanded metal. We used to do them this way as an option years go, they look good. However, in the end, it's not really needed for most users. Some also prefer the clean look with just the two dimple die pressed plates.
A selling point for a wife is they protect your doors from dings in parking lots too. One good door ding = the price for sliders. + the sliders bite back to inconsiderate people hitting your truck, they end up with little radius dents on the edge of their doors.
Powder Coating: Metal-tech 4x4 always suggests getting sliders raw and finishing locally. We only offer pre-powder coated as we have demand from people wanting them 100% ready to bolt on. We have to use a vendor for powder, we try to have the best done we can but it's not in our control.
PhilipB - Welcome to the board and thank you for your purchase! MUD is more than killer group buys so be sure to look around and ask questions for your truck.
