Already pulled the running boards off - ready!

LOL! Me too!

Mine are scheduled for delivery tomorrow (Tuesday). :)

Still need to paint them, then clean up and treat surface rust on my frame, before I install them. Plus I still have the front passenger bracket from the running boards to get off.

We have a large number of sliders shipping today for those who ordered early. We are well past the number needed so everyone is now 15% off. (all checkouts now will show 10% but the difference will be refunded after the sale ends on the 15th) Sooo close to hitting the 50 and everyone getting $100 in shipping credits.

How close, @helocat?!

Just 6 orders away from hitting $100 shipping credits for everyone!

For orders shipping from stock, we have 8 sets of raw and about the same for Powder Coated 100 series sliders in stock. Once they go out of stock pepole can still order, it will just take upwards of 10+ weeks for raw and 12-14 weeks for powder coated before they can ship.

How does shipping credit works? Like does the final charge be adjusted later or do we get a voucher of $100 for shipping credit that should be used/applied for future purchases?

I would consider ordering. Do you have any that can be fully plated for using as a step? My wife will appreciate the step option if you do, and a selling point for me then...lol
How does your powder coating hold up to the winter chemicals used on the roads? Should I coat them differently for this?

The code will give you 10% right off the bat. This due to the GB starting at 10%. After 20 orders the discount goes to 15%, and if (more like when) we hit 50 orders everyone gets a $100 shipping discount.

When you buy the code is set to 10%. At the end of the sale, (Ends May 15th) we then go back and edit each persons purchase and refund their payment method the difference.

Example:

Raw set of hundo siders $709.95 regular price.

Order: Use code GROUPBUY19 and they are $638.95 + say (this is different per person) $123 for shipping.

Sale ends and we have hit 15% and $100 shipping credits.

This order is adjusted, not just 5% but 15% from the regular price. So $709.95 sliders are now $603.46! The purchase difference is $35.49 + the now $100 shipping credit. So $135.49 is credited back on the person card.

This person ends up with what would normally be an $832.95 purchase, for $626.46 delivered!

We don't do a fully plated version, however, the 100 series sliders have step plates in the two areas you step. They are constantly used as steps as designed and built. If you get them raw and feel you want to add this you can have a local welder easily add fill "mesh" with expanded metal. We used to do them this way as an option years go, they look good. However, in the end, it's not really needed for most users. Some also prefer the clean look with just the two dimple die pressed plates.

A selling point for a wife is they protect your doors from dings in parking lots too. One good door ding = the price for sliders. + the sliders bite back to inconsiderate people hitting your truck, they end up with little radius dents on the edge of their doors.

Powder Coating: Metal-tech 4x4 always suggests getting sliders raw and finishing locally. We only offer pre-powder coated as we have demand from people wanting them 100% ready to bolt on. We have to use a vendor for powder, we try to have the best done we can but it's not in our control.

For what I believe is my very first post, I ordered a raw set... better go work some OT now! Very excited, though.

PhilipB - Welcome to the board and thank you for your purchase! MUD is more than killer group buys so be sure to look around and ask questions for your truck. I may have a low post count overall but was on here back when Woody set this up with the "cruiser support network". he he he back in the day!

Thanks! And the board has been extremely helpful to me. I’ve just been lurking for a while now.

Killer!
Mark has been quick to respond to PMs and informative.
I know you (@helocat) said a couple pages back, but to consolidate here, can you restate the protocol for in-store pick-up?
Does the customer enter address info then put 'WILL CALL' in a notes section?
Then the $100 shipping credit will later be applied as a credit on future order(s)?

Thanks dude!

I ordered them a week ago and picked them up today from the shipping terminal in Kansas City. Hope to get them on this weekend.
I will also echo that Mark and his team at MT have been really helpful and responsive.

If someone wants to pick up their sliders or bumpers at our Oregon location (our only location but that sounds more impressive), just chose "In-store pickup" at check out. You will not be billed anything for shipping. We do ask you be able to pick up your order in a reasonable time frame as we do not have the space to stockpile sliders/bumpers for months on end.

All In-store pickup orders, after they are picked up, will be issued a $100 MT discount code they can use for a future order.

Boxed GX470 Powder coated sliders for stock (we have raw ones too). On the shelf behind them, you can see one of the 6 pallets of raw 100 Series sliders for stock. All welded by Andy and Dustin over the past months. Packed by Mickie and Cory. We actually do make these things by hand in our shop here in Oregon.

I'll be in S Or the last 2 weeks in June. I plan to submit my order tonight or tomorrow.

The MT sliders are priced initially at $879.95 before the group buy. Does this price include powder coating?
