Might be time for some sliders!
I wish someone in Tx made sliders. 250 bucks for shipping on these., jesus!

Really? You shouldn’t go for the powder coated option? What do you do to avoid rust on the uncoated OPOR ones?
I just paid 260 for shipping on those, came bare, not wrapped in anything, basically slapped a label on bare metal and tossed them on the truck. Tons of scratches but i was gonna paint them anyways. I tried to reach out to MT regarding coupon for mud members but they never responded. It's too bad i like their style sliders and they passed my test on the last set so i bought the same ones. I didn't see anything else i like out there.
A good cleaning with a purpe scotchbrite pad and MEK, a good primer, and a readily available paint of your choice is the way to go. If you are planning on using your sliders as sliders (drag them over rocks, bump into stuff, etc etc etc) the coating will inevitably get destroyed. It's easier to touch up spray paint and will require less prep work to get something that matches. I also have a tough time spending the money on a nice powdercoat job that will get destroyed and touched up with rattle can anyways...
