Isn't that the second hard line you've had break on your motor? I'm getting the feeling that you're missing a bunch of line brackets. I've put ~16,000 miles on my motor without a single line issue.

I'm missing one that I know about, so I could be missing more. The lines are also corroded, the engine came from the north. I'm going to see if I can replace them all affordably and just hold them down with a ton of brackets. HIjack over. :D

Finally installed my front swaybar this past weekend. Have to say it makes a big difference in turning. Also replaced my off brand tuffy console for an ammo box. I got tired of that thing shaking around. And I got bored in class today and started drawing cruisers.. Typical Monday lol.
Here are some pics:

she's looking good, I see your also has a roof rack :)
Thank you, and ya I've been thinking about making one.. Still on the fence about doing a rack with sides or a flat rack for a tent. Is yours made out of steel or aluminum?

Steel...or really heavy strong aluminum. I found air bags that go on the land cruiser, problem is I need to fab up spacers to account for flex. Freaking money pit man.

Well if it's steel then that's good to hear, I'm not really experienced with welding aluminum.. And sweet could you post up a link of where you found them? I hear ya, I need to be satisfied with how mine is now... But it is impossible lol.

You need to stop at Whataburger and get me a few items and also a "now serving number" call number thingy and ship it to me Mj.. I have to say that is one of the things I miss about TX...

J
Whataburger is tough to beat thats for sure.. Other than Chick fil A its my favorite. And hey you can use it as an excuse to come to roundup next year!:D

Sounds like an IDEA to me... Are you still on 35s?

J
Sadly yes I am.. Just waiting to win the lottery so that I can get some 37 MTRs lol.

I'm debating on 37s or re-gearing Goss right now.. 37s and 4.56s or 3.73s and 35s..
The price difference on 37s and 35s is ridiculous.. I priced out 5 Goodyear MTRs on discount and it's around $1900 for 37s and only $1100 for 35s. Then you have to
Throw in the price of 17" rims for the 37s...

get recentered humvee wheels with military tires. Cheapest 37 in tires on the market.

Agreed. Make sure to keep the air pressure at proper levels and have a couple of spares though!!

I will have to look Into the military tires. How's the tread wear/ road performance?
