I feel ya on the body roll, mines terrible.. I just keep putting off installing a front one. Still trying to source a 62 rear swaybar.

I just took off my 62 rear sway. Remind me to grab it

What shocks are you running? Where did you get them and do you know the part numbers? ...via IH8MUD app
Man I can't remember what kind they are.. Had them laying on the shelf for about 2 years. I do know the lengths though, the fronts are 14" and the rears are 12". Hope that helps.

Just scored another parts truck for free! Light brown 85 with everything except the motor, transmission, tcase, and front valence. Completely rust free frame and body. The truck was stripped to be parted out, but all the parts are in boxes.

Ya but trying to figure out where everything goes is going to be a killer... I might turn this rig into a clean stock ride one day.. We shall see.

Katemcy PICS?? WE'RE WAITING MJ!!! J
Didn't get a chance to go wheeling since I got there too late.. But did meet up with mike (phoecian) and a others for a "back road" excursion. It was an 80 mile trip mainly on dirt roads with a few river crossings. Pretty cool too put some faces to names and meet a lot of local cruiser heads. The only thing I didn't enjoy was checking out everyone else's rigs and naturally becoming envious.. :D thanks for that mike..
Now I am only thinking about upgrading to a 4bt!
Here are a few shots that I got on my phone:

Maybe I can break free and go next year... WOW, Mike has a WIDE stance with those wheels.. Keep your head about you when it comes to wanting more... Get to know your rig, you just got the new suspension under it... BUT YES, a 4BT is awesome and DAMN sure fun to play with.

It doesn't hurt to dream a little. :) It's going to be a while till I am ready financially anyways.. Plus I know a guy that has a hookup in South America that can get me a FF fj60 rear axle pretty cheap:D
So I am going to focus on that for now. Tired of thinking about and working on the semi float axle.

Dang that's no good! That happened on the road?

Yup, right as I got into town. Luckily it happened 98 miles from the house and AAA covers 100 miles

That is luck! It's sucks that it happened but at least you didn't have to pay

A lot of people think AAA is a joke and scam, but they have bailed my ASS out plenty of times. Money well spent IMO.

J
Havent had to use them yet (knock on wood) but one day I am sure I will appreciate what they do.

a 4bt is awesome until this happens.

Broke the return fuel line on the way back today.

Isn't that the second hard line you've had break on your motor? I'm getting the feeling that you're missing a bunch of line brackets. I've put ~16,000 miles on my motor without a single line issue.
