Finally done with work until after McGrew. WOOT!

I have to get wrenching too. Need to complete routine maintenance; drain and refill all fluids, bleed/refill brakes, swap shackles around (originally installed backwards) and wash the truck well. Then of course pack, oh and I still don't know what I'll be bringing to share for the pot luck. Can't wait.

OINK! OINK!

I just changed the oil! :D I think I'm about ready rig-wise, now I just have to pack stuff for 4 people into the back back of my topless Runner.... :D I think I need to buy some rope.... Hehe

We will be running up on Sat morning (too much stuff to dooooo.....)

Can't wait!!!!

212337 Seconds Left!!!!

I hope no one minds a late arrival friday night at the store. When you hear the drone of Bias Swampers around midnight, that'll be me ;)

All ready. Just throw in some clothes and drinks Thurs pm and I'm done. Really, I'm not trying to rub it in, I'm just glad I'm ready.;)
See every one (with their name tags firmly in place...haha) Friday night, except you Jerod. 'Get r done' boys.

good job Aric... and thanks Gabe for helping him out.

Too bad Jeff is still wrenching on his truck. :)

Reminder, bring $20 for the raffle... we have some plans to help mix it up this year.

no name tags, however, you can plan on meeting a lot of new friends, and re-acquainting yourself with old friends. (actually, I need name tags to help put Mud IDs to faces.)

Toy350... any deep crossings, we're sending you first. oh, also bringing my dutch oven just for you!

RredFJ40... rather you show up late Friday night, than show up late Saturday morning.

You guys that are still wrenching are too funny.....I'm in the same boat!!!

:bounce: NEWS FLASH - there will be NO FIRE RESTRICTIONS ... cook it any way you like, just keep it in a fire ring :bounce2:

See you in the dirt & rocks soon

Fires a Go!!! Woo Hoo! Looks like we'll be putting Gnob and crew to work again.

Now I am Really excited...

thanks for letting us know Jeff... now get busy wrenching!

Salivating like Pavlov's dog!

Tony, Brian Busch and his son just stopped by my office in Walnut Creek and picked up a package for the raffle. Of course now he can't see out the rear window of his 40.

Wish i was going, perhaps next year.

no name tags, :crybaby:

(actually, I need name tags to help put Mud IDs to faces.):)
Still think it's a good idea for those of us who don't know everyone. I'll be using my 'Mud'
name.
Thanks,

FOOD......

#1 - On a single track trail if one person stops then everyone stops. If someone has to stop that is fine, potty break, picture opps, snack retrieval but PLEASE Pull off the trail unless absolutely necessary. When parking to watch those on the difficult runs don't park on the bypass. Don't stop unecessarily (I think cutting trees out of the way is necessary ;) )

#2- Inexperienced drivers don't feel bad hanging in the back or follow an experienced driver in a similarily set up rig. Getting in a hurry can cost you more time / breakage.

Tony or Jeff, feel free add/take away...

Thanks Kief:
Being in too big a hurry on this trail will "definitely" cause breakage - use a pace that suits your rig. A really old friend of mine often says, at the beginning of the run, "There will be no breakage allowed."

Tony's passenger, Bud, has been elected as trail swamper to keep those brush scratches down on the shiny rigs. Go Bud!

name.

Agree with Russ, Mud names on a sticker would be cool. Who's bringing the "My Name Is:" stickers and the sharpie?

RredFJ40... rather you show up late Friday night, than show up late Saturday morning.

That's the plan, no way I'd be late for this, I'd have to get up waaaay too early to drive over saturday morning :)

ya, folks always scowl at name tags, but sometimes it does help 'break the ice'.

Plus, I might know someone real well, and yet have no idea what their Mud name is or the fact the two are even related.

I kinda like the 'Your Mama' name. :)

Whose you pawpaw!??

Dave Thomas... Thank you very much. You are literally over the top this year. I too wish you were joining us, but then again, we don't have enough spill kits to support you. :)

Rumor has it, Wooooody is now applying his skills towards the ribs now that Fires are confirmed.

and yes, Ex PMC land use guy Bud Riley will be joining us, and Jeff and I are putting him to work. (none of you really care about that, but both Bud and Jeff are two of my two best friends, so naturally I'm pretty stoked to be running the trail with them.)

All packed up and ready to depart. I'm really excited about this year, my father will be joining us, and I'm bringing my 2 yr old daughter on her first trip without her mother. I can't believe that USFS is going to let us have camp fire, I think that it is way cool and I'm stoked about tony bringing his dutch oven, I've heard nothing but good things about his dutch oven cooking. See ya tommorro. Josh:cheers:

Did somebody say ribs :D

Yes, going to costco Friday morning... marinate and go...

I'll also bring a couple of hunks of tri tip... just because

I talked to Brian B. a few hours ago, he's on his way to my place for the night.... now I just have to get the house clean enough so my wife won't be embarrased..... :D I'm in for a name tag Russ, I think I'll go for "2ndGen" as the whole thing didn't come out so well at fun day... Hehe
