We had a fantastic time and Erin (my wife) got her first chance to drive off-road – not too bad (Posing in 3rd pic). Really happy with the quality of people you meet in the Land Cruisers / Toyota community, always a cut above. We are excited about next year and cannot wait to see you all again.

Thanks Garett for your help in finding tires and letting us raid your house.

Killer1954, I see that the duck tape got you home. Did ya run into problems. Josh.

Things went quite smoothly all the way home. I'm thinking of "upgrading" the driver side as well hehehe. Who'd a thunk? Good thing the duct tape worked, cuz I was fresh outa baling wire.

Tony, thanks for the duct tape tip!

Thats Awesome!

Just got back home late this afternoon after stretching the trip out one more night with my son Zach camping at Patrick's Point. We had a blast! Thanks to Tony and Jeff for organizing another fun run. Good seeing everyone again. This trip was probably the longest drive in my 40 I have done so far, and she ran beautifully, which made it even better. I could have used a dip in the Smith this afternoon on the return home though.....

Jerod, Rachel needs a 40. She has the bug. The pic of her driving mine is great.

The door is always open :)

It seems there was quite a bit of interest in stretching this run out another day. How about running in Friday morning or splitting it up for those that want to stay longer into Friday & Saturday morning runs?

Just some ideas, don't want to step on any toes here...Jeff and Tony have been doing an awesome job on this run. I'm willing to help all I can if you guys need it...on the trail or on the computer.

Yes, lots of discussion about a Friday Option.

What a great time. This is such a fun ride and the attendees where awsome as usual.

Great to see familiar faces especially the So. Oregon bunch. Much easier to put 'Mud' names to faces with the name tags. I think that went over well though I didn't get a name tag to everyone. Sorry, not intentional.
Thanks again to Jeff and Tony. Just can't say enough. I like the idea for the grand raffle prize. Bud was stoked.

Here's a pic of my rig after. Not too much for the worse. A little scratched and dusty but not quite as bad as I thought it'd be. I think the truck had fun.

Thanks to Tony and Jeff for a great event.
Thanks to Joel and Christine, Bill and Gin, Matt and Michelle, for a great weekend on the trail, looking forward to seeing you all again soon. My buddy Doug and I had a blast. Really nice to put the names with the faces. I don't have many pics but will post what I have in the next few days.

The Moochin Pooch!

Did we ever figure out the onwers of the Black lab without a collar.

Hi, another wife here buttin in on the mud board! We heard rumors that the black lab w/o a collar was seen in the back of a red truck that was not with the run. He was gone, as was the truck, Sunday late morning.

Here are a few pics (the only remotely good ones) that we took. Here's to Garett, Travis and the Big Grey 55 who braved the sluice!!!!!

We all had a great time! Once the hard work of setting up/tearing down camp and managing kids was done, we didn't want to leave! Thanks Kellys for hangin with us, we really enjoyed visiting with you! Jen

Jen and Kief,
Had a great time as well. We are hoping to see you late Aug again. I will bring the sunscreen for me and Kief...My back is killing me. I guess thats what 5 hrs in the river mid day will do to you. :o <-- color change sunburn!

Pics from McGrew

Sorry, I got lazy and just posted all the pics my friend Roger and I took. Didn't take the time to remove fuzzy, pointless, or just plain lame pictures. The pics at the beginning I took. No pics of the trail, cuz I was driving. Roger's pics are a little further in and are much more plentiful. So go deeper for trail pics. (hey, at least you can browse thumbnails) Enjoy.

Matthew and Erin... That 3rd pic with Erin driving is awesome! Just something about that 80 series, posing on a rock in the trail, with a pretty young lady at the wheel.

The wagons, especially the 80 series, just seem to be a perfect fit for this trail.

Nicely done. (I think that is shirt material personally.)

Great event and I'm sure it will get better for us. Thanks to all who put up with my Harem and I as we tackled our first TLCA event: Russ, Bob and Roger, Ron, and Doug and Michelle. I know I didn't get to meet everyone (I'm no social butterfly) but hopefully we'll have the chance another time. Looking forward to next year and some tougher challenges. It felt like the groups I was with flew through and missed some of the tougher stuff that it would have been nice to take. Oh well, maybe next year! I don't have a ton of pics as the navigator was too busy with her hand on grab handles. I'll get a few up soon (mostly of Russ' 80).
