Just double checking, since I missed the shindig last weekend. Is May 9 the correct day for the May meeting?

Just trying to get my bid for the schedule going...

Dan

May 9th is correct Dan. Evan and Ellen are hosting. Unless I missed something while I was there.

Excellent. Now for me to see what sorts of strings I have to pull to get the time off. I'd have no excuse for missing it if it's at Evan's! ;)

Dan

Yup, we're practically right around the corner from you. We are planning for Saturday, May 9th. We're not doing the first Saturday of the month because some of us will be at Cruise Moab - can't wait!

I will ask Ron to get some directions up on the website as we get a little closer to then.

Evan

The address linked on the page is incorrect. It takes me to:

201 Montana Wells Rd NE
Rio Rancho, NM 87124-6333

We'll get it cleaned up...after Moab!

We'll plan on about 6:00 PM on this Saturday at our house for the May meeting. A head count would be appreciated. We will make a batch of sloppy joes. Bring a dish to share and BYOB/drinks.

Here are directions: (maybe Ron can copy and paste to the website?)

* Take I-40 east of ABQ to the Zuzax exit (it's the next exit after the one for Tijeras/Cedar Crest). Also, there is road construction on I-40 between Tijeras and Zuzax. There are still two lanes going east, and it's not a problem. Watch your speed thru the construction zone.
* At the stop sign at the top of the Zuzax exit ramp, turn left and go over the freeway.
* At the next stop sign (at the north frontage road), turn left--this is North Zamora Road
* You should now be heading back toward ABQ (west) on the north frontage road--go west about 1/2 mile
* Turn right on Gutierrez Canyon Road and go about 1 mile (Gutierrez Canyon Road is the first major paved road--the street sign was twisted slightly and it may look like it says North Zamora)
* Turn right on El Refugio Road (there are signs near the corner that say "Archery Range" and “Trucks Turning)
* Follow the road down the canyon and back up the other side (about 1/2 mile)
* Turn right on Rickrock Lane and go about 1/4 mile to the house
* You’ll see a sign that says “Private Road—E & E Ashcraft”
* Rickrock Lane will take you right to the house--brown stucco home with lots of windows up on the side of the hill.
* Call 281-9676 if you have trouble.

Evan & Ellen

please include directions from the north/Hwy 14. I will be bringing my girls in the new troopy.

David -

Great to hear that you can make it! I'm looking forward to seeing the troopy and all of you as well. Directions for you (and any others who may be coming from the north on Hwy 14):

* Come down Hwy 14 through Cedar Crest until you go underneath I-40
* At the stop light just past I-40, take a left onto the frontage road (Old Hwy 66)
* Follow this about three miles east until you come to the Zuzax exit overpass (if you pass the Chevron station, you've gone too far)
* At the Zuzax exit overpass, turn left and go over the freeway.
* You’ll see a sign that says “Private Road—E & E Ashcraft”
* Rickrock Lane will take you right to the house--brown stucco home with lots of windows up on the side of the hill.
* Call 281-9676 if you have trouble.

Me and myself.

Me and myself.

OK, two for Jon... :flipoff2:

Also, it wouldn't hurt to bring some lawn chairs. We will likely be out on the deck if the weather's nice, and I expect it to be...

I'm working that day, but could bring down my box o' dog show/car camping furniture if ya need.

[sigh]. MUD has a minimum limit on posts and the word "me" was too short.

If all goes well tomorrow, I should be there with my new truck (and family). You'll have to wait until Saturday to find out what it is.

I want to know what's up with the new family.

Hi Carol - I think we'll be fine for chairs, but thanks for the offer! Sorry we'll miss you - maybe next time.
