Well, leaving Aunt Sue's around 11ish we'll be in Hendersonville just before noon.
I haven't made reservations as the group appears to be small. You, me, steenh,
Alan (Caterham) and Kim ( hot rod Midget).
Any others?

Sounds great!

Great seeing you all today! Food was excellent, Hendersonville was fantastic, definitely someplace I'll go back to.

Saw some very nice cars, including all of ours. The P 356 was absolutely amazing (only $110k if anyone is interested)... David, definitely send me those pics!

The TR6 was pretty cool, and the lady in the parking lot definitely knew her Austin Martins, not so much Porsche's... loved the "paddle shifter" comment, which of course I don't have :meh:.

With the new "super speeder" law in GA that adds $250/ticket for anything above 85, I was able to keep my max GPS speed right at 84.9 for the ride back.

Thanks for a good time!

Broke back mountain

Without the gay sex. I suffered an acute fracture of the T12 vertebrae on my way home.
While trying to change a tire I tried to lift the rear 1/4 of the bugeye. POP...CRACK...
pass out.Tried to stand when I came to. Searing pain and I passed out again.
Ambulance called and after many hospital tests we found the acute fracture in my back.
Now I'm sporting a full body brace and confined to the bed.
Seeing the surgeon next Tuesday. SUCKS bigtime. Hurts like Hades.
On the bright side I have good meds.
:grinpimp:

WOW! Hope everything works out ok David. Get well soon!

Wow, that isn't good at all! Guess we shouldn't have split up in Hendersonville.

Get better soon!

Wow. David I'm sorry to hear the bad news. Get some rest and if you need anything please let me know. I'm more than happy to help.

Get well soon and keep us in the loop.

Geez! I hope you heal up quickly!

Hate to hear that David! Hope you get well soon..

I don't know how often David is checking in here but Ali spoke with him yesterday when I was still looped out of my head. We both were cut on on the same day - I never saw that one coming.

From what I recall his procedure went well. I'll let him fill in the details as I'm sure I don't remember them correctly.

Surgery was a success. No more pain. No more wearing the Borg suit crap.
Back to normal in a few days.
Kyphoplasty is a wonderful invention.
Thanks for your prayers and best wishes.
They were answered.

For the first night since May 8th I have awaken without screams and searing pain.
Words fail to describe the agony and terror I've experienced.

Words also fail to describe my joy and thankfulness that I've
been spared.
God Bless us all.

btw: we've found out I have an extra vertebra. We all knew I was a freak of nature
now we have proof.
