Surgery was a success. No more pain. No more wearing the Borg suit crap.
Back to normal in a few days.
Kyphoplasty is a wonderful invention.
Thanks for your prayers and best wishes.
They were answered.

For the first night since May 8th I have awaken without screams and searing pain.
Words fail to describe the agony and terror I've experienced.

Words also fail to describe my joy and thankfulness that I've
been spared.
God Bless us all.

btw: we've found out I have an extra vertebra. We all knew I was a freak of nature
now we have proof.

Glad your doing better!!! "Back to normal in a few days" how can YOU go back to normal?.

I hear ya! "Normal" for me. :grinpimp:
Major milestone yesterday. I walked out to the road with a staff for support.
I did about pass out by the time I got back to the house, but Rome wasn't built
in a day either.
Look out.....I'm coming back.

As long as you can carry a cigar and a jar of the juice to the rocking chair on the front porch of the cabin, you'll be just fine! Be well sooner rather than later!

I hope it is sooner!
I drove a few blocks over to a mediator's office Tuesday. Not too bad.
First time back in a driver's seat felt good.
Then as I was leaving I backed the FZJ80 into a huge tree. It was
in my blind spot using just mirrors and I still can't twist my torso.
BANG. Shock wave found my new L1 in an instant. OUCH.
Good thing it was the 80. No damage, me , truck or tree..

I was in the UK earlier this month and all the guys over there had fitted their cars with back up sensors that beep as you approach somthing... might want to look into that.

David, you back to "normal" yet. Hope you're doing well!

Got an all clear from Doc yesterday!
No restrictions!
Time to "kick the tires and light some fires".
Still....I'm taking it "smart" and not lifting any cars by hand for a while.
