That's why I like the 993's... nice wide hips!

I thought I'd make the head count by this Friday.
I'll be going minus Lynn. I don't think there will be
that many others. Should be a dandy drive!

Lookie here......too bad it isn't a FJ40 chassis.
For sale in the Northwest.
Sad thing is I 'd guess it would do nothing well. On or off road.

I'm still in!

This is coming out of left field, but would there be any interest in throwing in a round of golf after lunch in Hendersonville before the run back down the mountian? I know shopping had been mentioned as a post lunch possibilty but since it looks like no one is bring their wife I thought maybe golf would be a good way to spend the afternoon. There is a nice course just outside of town called Etowah CC. Just a thought; but if you fellas aren't feeling like hitting the links.... just ignore me :grinpimp:

I'm really just laying out a road course that is nice to visit. Lynn will be Mom-sitting while I do this.
Golf sounds SUPER. Rain check for me . Without Lynn my shopping time needs are radically changed.
We'll do the whole run in 3 hr +or -.
If Mom wasn't at my place that weekend I'd play the links.
You guys should bring the clubs...just in case.
:grinpimp:

Looks like maybe just us 3 or so guys so I'd venture we'll do whatever strikes the collective fancy.

Since the Adopt-a-highway was rained out why not throw that into the mix? It's right there at the mountains and could be done before or after the event. Plus would give me a good excuse to get up to Davids and see the new pup and cabin.

I can do a cleanup. I could try my hand at a round of golf... been years and I can't bring clubs but if they have rentals, it's a possiblity?

The day is open for me so whatever works as long as I get to drive for a bit. :grinpimp:

Dont suppose you need one of these puppies?

I meant to hit you up when you first got sprite. From the glory days of my father lil remnants like this are always laying around. Looks like you got it taken care of and I imagine you did it yourself, but its a model A twin side draft syncro if desired.

i guess this would be NOS... you should see the dates and prices on some of this stuff

Wish i had something to join in on the ride; you guys have fun!!!

Yep...I could use one of those. I used the old hose in the carb throat and stuck the other end in my ear.
Match the pitch of the air flow and you are pretty close.
Many years ago I had a unisyn but like so many of my old British car stuff it's lost forever.
PM me if you want to sell it. I'm interested.

I'm riding solo and have a passenger seat open and it's got a harness too. You could park
at Aunt Sue's.

Those puppies look very nice!

I also have an open seat if anyone wants to ride along.

hmmm... don't know where you pulled your forecast from but both the weather.com and noaa have Sat. as B-E-A-Utiful sunny cool weather at the moment. Heres to hoping it stays that way

It was that News 4 John's forecast this morning that gave me pause.
