Just wanted to post a great job from a great vendor. And yes, I am biased.

Everyone knows Marlin Crawler does mini-truck stuff, but not many know they do Land Cruiser stuff too. Hopefully they will start advertising more of thier LC products and services on thier website.

Cruiser Dave did on awesome job rebuilding my transfer case. It looks almost brand new! (did I mention he's the Manager there also?)

Did he mention how long it would be before the Toybox is back in stock??

Your case does look good.

He told me they are awaiting the arrival of a shipment of output shafts from Japan. No ETA though.

Did you ship the t case over to them or do you live close enough that you dropped the rig off there? Assuming that you shipped it to them how long did it take for them to do the rebuild? Last was there a price difference for the rebuild of a solid vs. a split case? The case looks new out of the box.
Thanks,
John

I have always done my own. What would one typically expect to pay for this service?

The best thing to do is call them at 559-252-7295 - Marlin Crawler, Inc.

The cost is highly dependent on how bad your t-case is. Mine required a lot of internal parts (gears and mainshaft) as well as new bushings that are not part of the standard rebuild kit. I also had it converted to fine spline outputs on the rear drum and front flange (later model).

If the person answering the phone says they don't do Cruisers, ask for Dave. A couple of the sales reps need more training.

I live a couple hours away and drove out there.

I will have a t-case saver, but it's not shown as it mounts to my Toybox as well. The Nose cone ring is an innovative design that came from Georg at Valley Hybrids. Ping him at orangefj45. Dave improved on it by using studs instead of bolts for better clamping force.

Looks great..................

I had mine done by Marlin 5 years ago and what a perfectionist:D
When I pulled it out of the case I was so impressed All new hardware and it has worked flawlessly ever since. Marlin's builds are the shiat.................:bounce: Maybe someone could get that quality of work @ Trail Gear:flipoff2:

We do a lot more too but we just have not had it all listed on the web site. We have tons of rebuilding kits and components instock, remember the 3.64:1 LC gears? We will be listing more services on the new web site along with rebuild parts soon. We had cruiser products listed before but they were hard to find and information was not very clear.

Oh and as a side note, not one drop of blood during this rebuild!

Just sweat and a lot of tears;p

Looks good pjohnson!! Now don't get it dirty, OK?

Dave is right, I am busy working on getting our dual case product line available on our new website, expect a lot of new parts to be available very soon!!

Regards,
BigMike

Hi All:

Dave, are you saying that MarlinCrawler has some of the 3.6 low range gear sets still available?? If so I'll send you a stripped four-speed t-case to build with said gears.

Regards,

Alan
