Mine required a lot of internal parts (gears and mainshaft) I also had it converted to fine spline outputs on the rear drum and front flange (later model).

If the person answering the phone says they don't do Cruisers, ask for Dave.
I will have a t-case saver, but it's not shown as it mounts to my Toybox as well. The Nose cone ring is an innovative design that came from Georg at Valley Hybrids. Ping him at orangefj45. Dave improved on it by using studs instead of bolts for better clamping force.

Phil

i wonder where those parts came from?! :grinpimp:

ps: i do offer the 8mm and 10mm stud kits for the nose cone savers as well.

good to see the marlin guys on here, marlin is definetly one of the few true innovators in our little community and our sport would'nt be where it is today if it was'nt for people like him!

Oh and as a side note, not one drop of blood during this rebuild!

isn't that like a harley not leaking any oil? wonder why? cause there isn't any left to leak out..........:flipoff2:

:D It's a small world ;) Even Mudrak had a hand in my t-case. He provided a gear bushing that the dealer had backordered:cool:

And I stand corrected on the nose cone studs:)

I remembered that they were all sold out back then and I kicked myself for not getting a set...Maybe these are new gear sets????

Hope does spring eternal....

I am pretty sure Dave mentioned the gearsets as an example of Marlin's early Cruiser innovations. Marlin is a Cruiserhead at heart.

Yes thank you Phil, it was just a reference only. We do not have any usable gear sets left. There are no plans for them since the Orion is on the market.

Marlin has owned a few cruisers in the past but his love is the mini truck.

last i heard, they're still at least a couple of months out. :frown:

I saw Marlin work on a few 40's at the Lone Star Cruiser Round-Up. He just cant' help himself! If he sees a hood up then he is over there! What a great guy and the most helpful person I have ever met!

The best thing to do is call them at 559-252-7295 - Marlin Crawler, Inc.

The cost is highly dependent on how bad your t-case is. Mine required a lot of internal parts (gears and mainshaft) as well as new bushings that are not part of the standard rebuild kit. I also had it converted to fine spline outputs on the rear drum and front flange (later model).

Phil

Okay, so how much was yours?

My 40 was one of the 40's marlin worked on.
He saved my weekend taking my carb down and putting it back together.
Super guy!

Thanks Marlin!
