@kelly saad painted the wheels and is working with me on the color scheme. We don’t want it to look like “too much”

I think the wheels look great! The sides and back look awesome too. I like the color scheme. The front does need something.....perhaps that "half-moon" relief area on each side of the headlights could be painted a contrasting color....or maybe the grill...or maybe the corner light trim....

I like the hood interface, makes it a better fit ‘throwback’ - appeal.

It has a semi-FJC look as it’s impossible to blend a 80 to a 40.

The color helps, but doing smaller low valence yellow lense lights would help since the headlights are smaller than the FR marker lights.

All that said, yours is the best retro to round lights I’ve seen completed, the 60-style hood really makes it a better look overall IMHO.

Sorry for the delay in my posts. I started a new job on March 1. Been super busy. Plan to have more pics soon! Right now, I am working on replacing the driver’s seat controller switch for reclining, moving the seat. Also plan to powder coat some things and get the grille & headlights nailed down. Last thing we did was 2” lift with new shocks and springs! Also working on fender flares!!!! They will be painted. Oh....and ordered 2new rear hatch seals from Toyota and got those installed. Back closes so tight now!!! Ordering new outer window seals as well.
