Freed up space in front of the engine, pulled plugs dropped a a couple ml's of marvel mystery oil in the cylinders. I let it sit for about an hour and got say 10-12 degrees rotation out of it. Should I add a bit more oil and let sit more? Keep repeating till I get a good rotation out of her?

edit: it was in gear. DOH I'd delete this thread but Im not sure how.

To save face, just edit your post by deleting the text and just write "deleted".
Or leave it as is so that the rest of use can gain satisfaction in knowing that others make silly mistakes too :)

I had a buddy ask me "how do I get the rear brake drums off my truck (Ford Ranger) I've tried every trick on the internet!"
I asked him: "was your parking brake on?"
He's all:

When I first bought my place the shop was just the remnants of an old hay barn. My father in law was helping me get a 66 Chevy (non running project) into the back corner via a block & tackle. The Tundra is skidding along with the Chevy and he asked me if I still had it in gear :). I've got way too many dumbass stories. Actually I believe there was a thread on this some time back.

That would be a great new thread "My Dumbass Story". Everyone could contribute their dumbass mistakes they've made in the past. Everyone has plenty of them. It would probably grow 60 pages long. Would be pretty entertaining and probably make us all feel better.

I have more than I like dumb ass stories... I definetly could share a few too.
