Can I rent that magic wand for a day?

Nice work... Just what are the gear shift stops for? Security? ;) Popping out of gear badly? :D

Wait, I just figured out that is your PTO shifter... Never mind...

Nice wand action....

To confer, converse, and otherwise hob-nob with my brother wizards...

no rentals -come back tomorrow!

sodium bicarbonate, yes.

Really, a huge thank you to the h8mud commuminity, woody; dittohead, poser, cdan everybody.. thank you for this forum of knowledgable individuals.

I did not post that much when I joined or during the build but searching the threads, reading all the coversations, the faq etc was a huge help.

This cruiser belonged to Tom my father in law
he died 2 month ago, it was his project, The first pic shows you what it looked like when I took over. He begain to get more and more tired with each day, the cruiser sat for a long time. He died from lymphoma a cancer he belived he picked up serving in Vietnam.

He was able to see it finished right before it was done & we miss him terribly.

I read a post recently about a gentleman who had lost his son in Iraq and I couldn't bring myself to post up, I just had nothing left, it just really hurt alot.

The folks here are our kind of people.

Tom and I would like to salute all of you.
Gearheads, soa monsters, crawlers, stocker, cruiserheads & alike and everyone who keeps these vehicles cruising.

If your starting a build-up or doing cpr- keep going -these are tough trucks, do WTF you want to do, it is your truck and there are people who like & enjoy looking at everbody different S***.

Very good comments. The pride and emotion that we all put in these trucks is inspiring.

BTW, did you rent or use a commercial blaster? (the machine pictured above)

Magnificent

I gotta get one of those presto-chango-undo the make the picture look like it's black and white wands.

But seriously, Lee, very nice job; that's an extrordinary looking 40, and a heartwrenching story. I'm very sorry for your loss and can't imagine your emotions with this.

Now that you've pulled back the curtain, please stay with us: you're one of the 'folks here that are our kind of people' too. Gladly.

So, more pics?

Thank you for sharing. Nice work and thank you for the inspiration.
