I was able to do the first test!
Good: climate controls, steering wheel controls, factory volume nob, bluetooth, music, and wifi work. no hissing.
Bad: No radio. No data (gps), cannot get a signal.
I hooked up wires based on this post: LX470 2004 | Need help with Android Screen - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lx470-2004-need-help-with-android-screen.1277592/post-14671024

I saw you are in florida, is it hot recently? a lot of aftermarket cheapo camera is not rate for automobile use, they cannot withstand high temperature.
LX470 doesn't seem to have any problems with the mark levinson equipment. It's the LC that has issues.Does the Teyes work in a 2006 LX470 with factory mark levinson amplifier? My vline2 is shot (after minor use) and thinking about going this route, but is it simple plug and play with the wires?

Based on the experiences of users, I would say definitively, yes. At least for those with LX’s. I’ve read both threads and know a guy who has the T’eyes. T’eyes will be my choice when I replace the screen.Do you think the Teyes unit is more reliable than a Tesla screen style unit???
n=1 here and absolutely no storage or performance issues with the 64/4 unit. I regularly run Torque Pro and AA at the same time, so my use case is heavier than your "only CP".I think I am going to purchase a Teyes CC3 2K unit but am unsure on how much storage to get (32G/64G/128G).
Just on 2 years in and after a few software upgrades it's working perfectly. Wireless AA and CP are virtually seamless.Teyes unit is ... reliable
I recommend the Teyes for sure. My original screen still works and i prefer the Teyes. Is there anyone in the Denver, CO area with one of these that is willing to let me swing by to let me check it out person? I have a 2003 LX and my Bluetooth adapter just crapped out. I have been eyeing the CC3 2K for a while but would like to see one in action before I order it. I'm in Highlands Ranch and would be happy to come to you with a 6 pack in hand for your time.
I went with the 32GB version and have no regrets.I think I am going to purchase a Teyes CC3 2K unit but am unsure on how much storage to get (32G/64G/128G). I honestly really cant think of anything I would be storing on it......if I wanted movies I would just stream from my server through Plex. It will mainly just be used for Apple Carplay.
Is there something I'm not thinking of?? I would rather get the 32G or 64G and put the extra money towards an Amplifier since I have a Land Cruiser.
*edit* Also just noticed the units with less storage have less ram.....
Really?!I went with the 32GB version and have no regrets.
The USB connectors are routed to the glovebox which is connected to a large capacity USB flash drive. Offline map data is stored on the Teyes, and all music files are on the flash drive. Another nice bonus is file transfers are way easier since you can just take the flash drive inside and connect to a computer.
