The reason I’m asking is that after refueling today. I noticed my gas gauge was still stuck on 1/4 tank and my trip information displayed the range according to what’s left in the tank. I turned off the truck, pulled the key and locked and unlocked the truck. Started up the truck and the gas gauge jumped back to life and registered the correct amount of gas in the tank (3/4) but the trip information screen still showed the range before i filled up.
I experimented and reset the trip a on under the speedo, pulled the fuel latch and hit reset on my trip info screen trying to let it think i refueled again to no avail.
So im just curious how it resets after refueling to give me the approximate range etc.
