When I had my windshield re done the glass guy actually explains to me the process he needed use. Word for word almost for the FSM. I told him after a was glad I did not have to tell him how to do it ;)

Haha are they ever actually finished??? I don't think I have ever had a project get that far. Lol

I will try and throw some good pics up in a few days it's strapped to a uhaul trailer now. Lol

Just some finished project pics to drool over :D... I probably missed them buried in the 58 page thread! I did flip through it a good bit though :)

Consider yourself very lucky!! Lol

Found something that gets even worse had mileage than the 80! So far 6.9mpg. Lol

^^^ that is my experience with U-Haul a well but it has been more than 20 years since I have rented one so was unsure if they had gotten into diesel haulers since then!

amazed you getting the 6.9 mpg with those rpms! Bright side is you do not need to worry about speeding tickets on the highways on your journey, just watch the little towns!

I assume you didn't tell them what you were pulling. I had U haul refuse to rent me a trailer for a wrecked Jeep because it had 33" tires.
Good luck on the trip.

I spoke a little too soon, I ended up around 6.3mpg for the close to 1100 mile trip, but I beat the truck
unmercifully. Talking foot to the floor for minutes at a time, I did not pay attention to the 55mph limit that's for sure.

Nope I told them I was towing a '96 LX450, didn't really get into mods. Lol. I just took a longer strap and put it over their wheel basket strap and tightened it down.

But everything made it Ok!

Nice.

If you ever think an 80 on 35's is pretty good sized move to Moab, neighbor on one side has a dodge pickup on Rockwells and the other has a suburban on one tons. Lol. Good stuff. The neighbor with the Dodge also has two 4runners in his driveway so we might get along. Lol

Out goofing off today, lots of fun, but the fun sand runs are terribly washboarded, still kicked the turbo in a couple times and drove up on the banked corners.
