I'm sad to say that I am selling my beloved 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62. I bought it from the original owner 14 years ago and it has been a reliable daily driver for me ever since. It's a very original specimen with minimal modifications or upgrades. The brush guard, roof rack and rear ladder steps were installed by the original owner. Mechanically, though, it's almost all OEM.

Ok... here's a bunch of info about the vehicle.

You can find all the general specs online, but as far as the trim, mine has power locks, power windows, and power mirrors that all work (I've replaced the power mirrors with the European version of the mirrors, but the connections are still there and work if you wanted to put power mirrors back on). Body is white and interior is grey.

The Good Stuff:
Only 176k original miles! Very hard to find anything under 200k these days.
Title is clean and registration is current.
Starts up every time and drives great (assuming you're familiar with driving old FJ's).
Compression was good when last checked.
I have all maintenance records.
Axle seals, wheel bearings and seals, brake pad and rotors, hub assembly repaired at 170k miles.
Starter motor assembly and fuel pressure dampener replaced at 165k miles.
New water pump assembly and shocks at 156k miles.
Radiator replaced around 140k miles.
Transmission rebuilt at 123k miles.
BFG KO2 tires still have lots of tread.

The Bad Stuff:
AC is currently not working.

Cosmetic Issues:
Drivers seat has a hole in the regular spot (where you get in and out).
Corner of Front Right Fender has a dent.
Paint is original and as has an expected amount of blemishes.
One rust spot of note on Front Right Pillar between passenger door and windshield. This rust was there when I bought it 14 years ago and hasn't progressed, and it is barely visible with the door closed, so it's been a low priority for me.

Asking $17,500

Any questions, feel free to contact me!

Thanks!

Good luck with the sale. I'll be in the market for a good FJ62 daily driver in January but Im sure you'll find a good home for yours before then.

Timing, timing, timing....and mine is bad. Surprised its not gone already
