Thanks for the heads up over here Marshall.

I have also advertised the Cullowhee ride March 17,18 and 19.

Seems there is some interest in the ride here so, if anyone who is planning to go on the ride in March wants to meet some of the UC guys before hand, the March 4th meeting would be a good opportunity.

here are the details for this Sat. BBQ in Asheville.......... hope to see some of you NC guys out there......

What: Upstate Cruisers head North of the Border to enjoy David Davis's
mouth watering BBQ piggy

Where: David Davis's
12 Sage Drive
Weaverville, NC 28787

When: Sat. March 4...... the feast will begin at 6PM sharp but you are
welcome to arrive much earlier say 4-5pm and we encourage this to allow as
much cruiser conversation as possible. Also for those of you who would
like to convoy up together there will be a group leaving out from Alan
Hardin's home in Cleveland, SC and convoying up to David Davis's for the
BBQ.

Who: Any Upstate Cruiser member or Landcruiser lover for that matter,
bring your family and friends we have plenty of room and more than enough
BBQ. You are guaranteed to have a good time with this crowd.

Please come out and join us in the BEAUTIFUL North Carolina mountains for
some great company and good food.

Saturday's shindig is being thrown by an NC guy, so come on guys, head to the mountains for some Cue and Cruiser talk!!

You'll meet some really great folks!

As a look forward, some of the UC members are putting in time this weekend for a club ride in 2 weeks - Mar 17th, 18th and 19th in the same area.

Plan on making that if you can't make this weekend!

If i was not broke and jobless right now it would be great, OK not broke, but close to and it is like almost 6 hours from here. Too much Gas for me, now maybe if it was warmer and i took the bike.

Get that 45 done and put it on Ebay! :grinpimp:

It's insane what frame up restos are going for...

I found a cool HJ45 for sale near Asheville last week. Guy bought it for around $9K in TX, put it on Ebay and the bid price is right at $15K now. Insanity!!

And the kicker is, it's not a torn down, frame up resto like you are doing.

Anyway, maybe in 2 weeks Darin. Looks to be 15-20 cruisers for that one. Gas prices are down almost 20 cents / gallon in 2 months, maybe it will keep going.

I've been following that 45 also, found out the deal with that one guy buying all of them though. Heck i took the bike out today and was it nice.

And i can see why people want so much when they are doing what i am doing.

Did you see the seats i ended up going with, not sure if i posted a pic or not but they look goooood. And they are stockers.

And the better half would shoot me , kill me, and then divorce me ( in that order ) if i ever sold this thing.

Yep, she is a keeper. I think she is the one thing i did right in the past few years.

Darin,

Make it if you can, I hope to be there and been looking fwd to meeting you.
