You are going to miss the Ultra4 races but get to see the Desert Trucks hauling the mail! I still want to go back just to watch that. The on course viewing of the main race is limited now from what we did in the early days but still there. You can see more on the big screen in Hammertown with all the drone footage or your laptop. That is why I have stayed at home. Watching qualifiing is fun and can be done from Hammer town.

If anyone has never been, you have to do it once. Now a days you need a dust mast to walk around Hammertown all most and come back with KOH lung for a week! Most of all have fun.
Trust me I know. Time wise I just have to get back.

KOH has done a great job of putting up more Jumbotrons. Last year they had one at back door, chocolate thunder, sledge hammer, hammertown and one more at another site which I can’t remember the name of right now.
With Starlink you can watch and hear the coverage on the Jumbotron while watching it live. I found it to be the best of both worlds. Obviously the course is mostly closed off but I really think they have stepped up their game when it comes to coverage. Some race cars were live feeding from inside the race car during the race with Starlink which I thought was pretty cool.
It really is a great experience to be there in person. But that’s just my opinion.

Oh, I am not hating. I volunteered 2010-2012. Having Koh ops on the radio on your hip was awesome. I was at Chocolate thunder watching Erik Miller finish the last mile or so to the finish. I was toting the film crew around back when they made the movies. Go back and watch, I parked my 4runner so it was in several shots. We also went to the hard areas before the leaders got there. Standing at the ledge watching leaders in Sledge Hammer was cool. You could touch the cars we were so close and talk to the guys as they waited in line.

The only thing better was racing 2013-2018.

If you can volunteer for at least one day, I recommend it. Lots of inside info.

I am not sure I could go back without the race car :)

Oh I know you’re not hating. Racing KOH is a dream I have and one way or another I will race there one day. I tried volunteering last year but decided against it because I didn’t like not having information on what exactly I was volunteering for. Just didn’t seem that organized to me. Just from the outside looking in. Although I’m sure it is a major undertaking for the people in charge of assigning volunteer positions daily.

You could always buy my car! It has finished the EMC the last two times raced. 10th and 11th place.

Don’t temp me with a good time.

PM SENT!!!

I will be there with the Rusty Nail Crew and working for Warn & Factor 55. Not sure on dates yet still working that out.

If anyone wants to camp with the Rusty Nail Crew let me know, I'm sure more cruiser heads in camp will be allowed.

As of right now Rob will be racing the desert series in his FJ45 and Ben will be racing in the UTV class. That is all that I know for who is racing this year from RNR.
