Bringing back an old thread. I have a79 imported from Columbia and looking for the pull rod. I have the dash mounted triangle and no grommet and a different looking mechanism than any of the others I have seen posted here. Hoping y’all can help!

Thanks but I need the version with the bends to clear the radio. And...I just got a message from another forum member that has one. Thanks for responding. Hopefully some one else will find this thread and PM you.

@danrbrown , is that one for sale? I got one from FJ40Matt, but it was delivered during 70mph winds and blew away.

I’m looking for the same set up. Knob, grommet, and rod. Its for an early 70 fj40.
If I find a knob in good enough shape, I will cast it, and make reproductions.

I am in the process of putting my '73 back together and just realized I have the same problem. What was it about '73? Anyone have a pull? I am going to make a custom bracket to fit under the radio, so I don't need the '73 correct pull although I would prefer that. Mark
