Wanted LOOKING FOR THE PULL ROD FOR THE FRONT AIR VENT ON COWL 1973 FJ40

I am in the process of putting my '73 back together and just realized I have the same problem. What was it about '73? Anyone have a pull? I am going to make a custom bracket to fit under the radio, so I don't need the '73 correct pull although I would prefer that. Mark

How much for that one? I believe the original was zig zag, but I might try to modify the mount since it is missing.

I'm looking for one from a 73 as well. In the IS that would be 7/72-9/73. With the radio opening the rod moved closer to the center and shaped different. Post 9/73 from other markets without a heater would work.

Interesting find……. another vent knob without a rod molded on, it has a threaded insert with a set screw.
