Looking for OEM steering box and steering pump for a 1991 FJ80 3FE, any experience on where to find is appreciated.

Going thru steering problems, pump leaking needs to be replaced and steering box is ready for replacement. Want to keep it as close as OEM as possible. Any recommendations on where to find original or very good quality steering box and steering pump for a 1991 FJ80 3FE is appreciated.

New oem is available but expensive, rebuilds are available from a number of suppliers. rebuild and upgrade parts available from Toyota for a diy project for resonable cost vs a crappy aftermarket box.

If you deiced in the new oem box from Toyota it comes with the J105 sector shaft so you will need a new pitman arm, which you would also need if you opt get the oem upgraded sector shaft.

Steering gear box is the same from 91-97.
The belt drive PS pump can be rebuilt with OEM parts. 04446-60021
