76 pig pretty clean except for P/s rocker and both fender flares. front fenders are banged up but not bad. No motor, but I scored a 4spd and case, even had all the glass except rear gate. Looks pretty complete except Taillights:mad: No title though, so it'll probly end up as bacon. List of parts coming soon. Let me know ahead of time if you REALLY need a specific part.

Also, would anybody be interested in buying a pig on an 80 series platform???

One thing I've learned about you is that the glass is always half full. ;)

So are you going to just swap the 76 body onto the 80 frame while driving the 69?

Maybe, the 69 is more complete so I'd need to steal some stuff off it, but the 76 is a lot cleaner inside. We'll see.

so are you parting it out or tryin to put it on a 80 frame??

i would maybe be intrested in the hood and/or doors...

haven't decided for sure, probly part it. The 80 swap would be cool, but right now I am a bit short on cash, and I can probly get out of debt between parting the 80 and this pig. No emblems unfortunately, doors may be spoken for, but I have a full set of clean 69 doors.....PM me about the hood.

Good Score

Now I've got someone closer to home to commissurate with:bounce2:

Sell the whole thing?

Price?

Don't have a title for it and PO is deceased:frown: I got it from an "unofficial scrap yard, so I can't put it on the road. However, I might be able to work something out with the local junkyard owner to get a salvage title, but we'll see.

I am leaning toward parting it, so if it did go whole, it would have a drum front axle, and a good set of doors from a 69.

Lame. If you swapped the body onto the 80 you wouldn't have to register the 55 body, would you?

Good luck on the hunt for the new 80!

Exactly:D

Hmmm........................

If I registered the frame from the 80

and put the 80 body on the 55 frame and didn't register it....

I could have two trucks with one registration.....just make copies:D :D :D

here in MT you can get a bonded title. some paper work and a sheriff look at the vin#, bond costs $100. for 3 years, if nobody claims it as theres it will be free and clear yours. I'm looking at doing that with a 55 yhat I can't find the owner to and the landowner just wants it gone.
