I'm thinking Japan Andy, but I've been wrong before...

Seriously though, that is one nice looking rig...and LHD too! SWEET!

Now, if I could just find that winning lottery ticket I've misplaced.

I have a compete 1 gallon black Monstaliner kit for sale. I bought it last month intending to use it but my wife talked me into going with a yellow tinted liner instead. This could easily do a lower half/ around the flares/ wheel wells kind of job. I opened the box but didn't mess with anything. In Philadelphia 19128 but could meet you in within an hour of Harrisburg with enough notice. Asking $100 cash or I will trade you for something awesome.
Message me for my phone number. Thanks

I've passed an 80 sitting at Wessels in Dillsburg several times and decided to stop and take a look. I thought I'd share it with any that may be interested. It's a 90 w/ 216k on it and is pretty rough. They are asking 2995 as-is. If hadn't been detailed or touched up. Passenger front fender is dented, rear gate is dented and the interior is rough but not destroyed. I crawled underneath and everything is clean... No trail damage, its stock and clean. Evidence of oil leaks etc etc. An older gentleman came out and starting talking to me. He wasn't a salesmen, just runs cars and does odds and ends. Anyway, we got to taking and he has a restored 79 FJ 40 and said he drove this 80 a few times and it felt solid. I snapped a few quick pics and left.

He said he used to do a run every year from Dauphin to Tower City on the old RR bed. That the game commission opens the gate once a year around October an you can run it from end to end. There are a few ghost towns along the way that can be checked out. Have any of you heard of or done this? Sounds like it would be a good time.
Oh and I told him to check out the Keystone Cruisers.

the stoney creek rail trail is smooth as a babies butt and the last few times i went through, it was 5mph, bumper to bumper for the better part of 2-3 hrs. one direction only, so once you start on it, you're stuck on it.
there is little to no parking at the neat spots as it is only open to cars once a year, so when you do want to stop and explore, there is no room to do so. there are no towns along it. one of the neat spots, cold springs resort is accessible year round from the hawk watch, on cold spring rd. it's basically just a few foundations scattered in the woods and the remnants of a small lo head dam that once created lake dresden.....which is still listed on most maps...including googles.

i would like to drive or be taken for a ride in an 80 series with a rear lunch box locker. i've heard with the full time four wheel drive and automatic transmission that the lunch box variety of lockers is nearly invisible on the street. i know how they handle with a part time system and manual trans, invisible is not the word i would use to describe the handling there.

Is this dealer up on a hill?

I looked at a rough 80 just like this one a few months ago. They also had a decent 100 series, but overpriced.

The 80 was roached!

It's on 15 north just north of Dillsburg. right side of the road as your heading north. They had 2 '07 LX 470s @ around 30k and a 14 landcruiser for 70k.

The 80 did look like someone lived in it. The undercarriage was clean so I don't think it had been ran hard off road. Looked more like an abused city rig. I don't know much about them or what they are worth. Just thought I'd pass it on if someone was in need and the price was reasonable.

Also. I'm looking for a '94 Lexus ES 300 hood, light housing and any other front end bits that might be available. My daughter rear ended someone on 81 while (not paying attention) in traffic. If anyone knows of any, I'd appreciate it. Thanks

not that much. not for an fj80 vs the fzj80.
it has the smaller engine displacement and smaller brakes and same piggyness as the faster, better stopping fzj.

Bummer Jody. I just sold an ES 300 about a month ago, cheap too.

No biggie. That's the way my lucks been going lately. Woke up Tuesday morning around 3:00 as I had to be at a job in Wayne County. It stormed pretty bad Monday night around midnight, lightning struck a tree next to the driveway and dropped it on my garage.
Just missed the FJ

It's been rumored, that the application of a Keystone Cruisers sticker to your vehicle wards off bad luck...imagine the carnage had you been sticker-less!

No lockers = deal breaker. (Drops microphone)
