Rick- I have a pair here not real good but usable free if you want them. Might eb beter than what you already have.
Hey Gary - Thanks for the offer. If you get a free minute, PM me some pics. Absolutely no rush, as I'm not going to be getting to any sort of body work for at least another year. Engine/driveline are going to come first. Mine are probably in about the same boat - they might be salvageable but they're rusty at a lot of compound joints and folds and I've never even touched a welder...

That IS really cool. I wish it was mine. I just wonder how the hell a 20r can pull that thing. I guess little tires and low gears. It dosent matter, I want it!

'81 would be a 22r.
Blue truck with gray interior. No lift, it's a bone stiock 60. Some may have seen it- it was eric Oldenburg's truck, we dragged it across some interesting trails at Anthracite last year.
Brian- I'm picking up a 62 this weekend I believe the frame is good. Still has the axles and the body shell on it. Would a 62 frame work for you? not sure if the 62 frames are a lot different than a 60 but think they may be quite similar. let me know.

a 62 frame would work, some modifications are required but i don't think its that big a deal.

Brian- the guy has a good 62 frame besides the one under the parts rig I'm getting. i'm gonna head up there in the next few days to see the stuff. Stay tuned. gary

sweet!!
Just got an FJ62 parts rig today. Not a complete truck, I'd say there is no good glass or any good body parts available other than roof, the grille and valance panel. Blue in color. Has a complete engine and transmission condition unknown- the guy I bought the truck from never had it running. All parts from under the hood are available. The transfer case (a split transfer like the later model FJ60's with 38MM ideler shaft) is for sale but the vac shifter assy has been removed. No interior. axles and steering column available. Steering box is spoken for. Larger parts will be available after i get home from Moab in mid May smaller stuff can be pulled and shipped befiore I leave. posting this here in the club site before going Mud-classifieds wide.
