I have really enjoyed this thread, especially the last few pages.

Now back to my light problem and preoccupying Joe.

I added some seatcovers to my first and second row seats...do they match the tan interior well enough? Black and tan seemed like a good combo for my truck. Opinions?

as for the seatcovers staying in place, I drove around almost all day without the seatcovers moving around and getting unmounted

Nice! Got a linky?

not from online! I asked my upholstery guy to keep the templates for the seatcovers that he made for me. I can get a set made and shipped to you if you want. They can also be supplied in fabric/vinyl combo. I also got him working on UZJ100 embroidered cargo area mats for the hundies. Any suggestions? (OME/ARB or other logos lol) wouldn't mind getting a group buy together

They look very nice!
What fabric did you use?
How are they held in place to keep them fom moving?

they have elastic bands and some kind of z clip under the chair. It's so crammed under the hundy's seat so I cant get pics of how it looks. I can snap a pic of the custom seatcovers I had in my ram, same mounting system but different seat covers that are easier to see because the chair is elevated

Finally got around to uploading some pictures of the new snorkel. I also have some from a recent wheeling trip.

Recent changes:
1. Reindexed the tbars to minimize get rid of the stinkbug stance
2. Installed the snorkel
3. Clear turn signals
4. Hundy went in some mud and dirt:D not anything tough tho

I have two choices on what to do next, question is....sliders or 4x4 labs rear bumper? I've contacted both luke(4x4 labs) and john(White knuckle offroad) but I'd like some feedback on what to do next. I want to attempt some trails that are a bit more challenging

Finally being productive about this build. Instead of notching the snorkel, I notched the antenna mount instead. It turned out pretty good and I was more comfortable notching the antenna mount anyway. ohhh and one more parking lot pic with the snorkel:D

Cool idea on moving the antenna. Any pictures of the antenna notch job? Can I assume the snorkel covers the hole from the move?

Phil, I did not move the antenna at all. I just notched the black mount(base) of the antenna assembly. This is not a clear picture but I hope it helps.

Pull those moldings all together and rhino line the whole side from the molding down!

I got a quote for rhino lining the side mouldings on down, its $500! I think sliders would be a smarter upgrade for now?

I'm going cheap, Monstaliner roll-on bed liner. $240 shipped for 2 gallons which is plenty to do the sides and more.

But yes, sliders are a much smarter upgrade then lining the sides. That's why I did sliders first! :D

P.S. My Line-X quote for the sides was $900 so your $500 quote was cheap!

YOU TOO...and Nick!

It's coming, but first front bumper/winch!

Pls do a write up on monstaliner if you ever do it!

Will do, no worries!

BTW, I found Monstaliner and a couple other options on the Jeep forums. Google search and you will find TONS of write-ups from those guys. I wanted something smooth, shiny, and UV protected and Monstaliner was the only one to meet all of those requirements.

If it's in fact $240 for an ample amount of monstaliner, I should probably put that on my front bumper and order bare metal white knuckle sliders to coat as well:idea:

LJ, your LC's lookin great. I take it you did the snorkel install yourself? Nice and clean.

Anthony, nice find on the Monstaliner. I wonder if it's coarse enough to provide a non-slip surface for step sliders. I read that it is impact resistant and won't flake so that's a plus.
