Does anyone know if a BJ 73 windshield frame will fit a LJ 73?

According my EPC the partnumbers are identical for BJ73, HZJ73, 74, KZJ 73, LJ73, PZJ73, RJ73.....LX, STD, VM (build Jan 1990 - Aug 2001)
Partnumber: 56301-90K20

For KZJ73 , and LJ73....VX the partnumber is different: 56301-60150 (build Jan 1990 - April 1994)

So it depends on your version, LX or not.

I did some measuring.
Outside of hinge to outside of hinge 53"
outside of hinge to edge of raingutter 4 1/4 "
center of holdown bolt to center of bolt 53 1/4"
center of windside from edge lip of top to bottom of frame 25 1/2"

If someone with a BJ73 could take a moment to compare measurements it would be greatly appreaciated!

Check with ens toyota in or mustang connection. They can both get new parts.

The only difference I have seen on the LX and VX windshield is the holes and threads for the handle on he A bar

They were sold new in France or Germany,so the dealers there may have them. They sell for about $700AUD or $400AUD for a fibreglass frame in Australia,shipping would be a killer though.

A 75 series frame will also fit

I don't know how old this post is, but I am working in the Balkans and I have an '87 LJ-73. It is being driven/restored as we talk. I get all my parts from the dealer (it is so much easier that my '76 FJ-40 restore.) If you want a price thru my Service/Parts Manager, I can give you a phone number and you can call Glauk. I'm sure he, or I can arrange for shipping to the US. All I ask is do you have a source for LJ accessories (i.e. bull bars, mud flaps, rear tire and jerry can racks?) Also, I am looking for a true set of FRP doors. My truck is from Switzerland and they frowned upon true FRP doors for safety.

What do you mean by "FRP doors"? Do you mean the ones that suit the fold down windscreen and have sharp angle on the upper forward corner of the door frame?
They are the same as 75 series pick up and the leaf spring 73/74 series doors.
They can be hard to get hold of 2nd hand and new they are around $2200 in australia,sometimes less if you can find someone who can bypass the dealer.

all fixed windsheild frames are the same.
this applies only to 7* sereis.
