We install a ton of weld-on brackets for this mod on lifted 80 and 100 Series Land Cruisers, as well as 4Runners, GXs, and FJ Cruisers. But we noticed there wasn’t a good option on the market for the coil spring 70 Series rear axle—which could definitely benefit from the same upgrade. So, our team decided to change that. :)

We went with a 2.5" correction, since that’s the most common lift height we see on trucks coming in from Japan—and it's also really the only commonly available lift size on the market.
(And just ignore the second bolt hole in the prototype photo. 🙂)

I looked on your site and couldn't find these. I could just not be looking tin the right spot though.

Hi! I know we got these done but I never got them on my site. PM me your info and I can get you one

I got a few PM's from guys wanting to order these, and doing my due diligence I realized these will only work on +1990 models with the later rear axle. Just a FYI

What’s the most noticeable difference with adding something like this?

You won't feel the rear end "wiggle" as much when hitting a bump/pothole at high speed. Once the panhard bar is at an angle the axle will start to move left/right instead of up/down

…any suggestion of a solution for pre-89’s that doesn’t involve a new rod?

A new rod wouldn’t change anything, the mounting points need to move to fix the geometry.
Someone send us a 85-89 coil spring 70 series and we’ll make a version for that too!

Are these weld-in brackets or bolt-in? I'll be in the market for one of these next summer. Would the front benefit from similar treatment with a 2.5" lift?

Edit: from the photos I can see this would be a weld in bracket.
