is home.
the name started as a joke between me and pighead...i kept saying our baby would be home from the hospital soon and he said baby's come from hospitals because they are sick..annie's not sick just neglected. when i said she was coming from social services, he remarked the orphanage, hence little orphan annie.
only issues were she's currently stuck in 4wd (couldn't get to shift linkage with skid plate in the way and no vacuum to pull out), so we drug her down the road and pulled the rear shaft from the axle. tires held air most of the way home, but were so low that on backing up the driveway, the right rear peeled off the rim and the left was dang close.
before we left the p.o.s, i coated the engine with simple green and we stopped at the carwash down the street from home, but the only way the grime was coming off the engine was with the paint, so there are now a lot of bare metal spots on the valve cover and a lot of grimy spots
soon, the questions will begin, but for now, question numero uno
is the taper in the steering arms of a 1962 the same as all early 40s? (in other words, will the tie rods/ends from, say, a 72 fit?
