If you get front to back sway you can add a bracket and bolt it to the top corner of the windshield there is a hole there you can bolt to I had to do it for the safari rack I built.

nice,i like it...almost same that my friend fabricate for my roof rack.you can add the rack support just after the lights.will be great looking also

I'd think on the rear of the tub about where the reverse light would be.....SOR uses that area for locating theirs....Seems to be the best structural place....

I remember seeing a rack that busted loose when it was flexed(?)....It was attached at the rear to the bumper instead of the tub and flexed seperate from the front mount....

edit: Of course it could have just been poor welding.....?

After debating here on many posts about roof racks over soft tops and the better way to support the legs.i ends on the simple way..a square plate with 4 screws.Reading here that the legs ending at the rear bumper will bend or make a crack on the welding My rig its not perfect at the rear corners,it does have a aluminum over the steel (PO ) and the fact that my rig its for trail use and not for mall shopping...:D

Sorry for bring again the roof rack topic over you post Eshan, but many member will looking for nice rack supports..take note on that..;)
